How to make things better
1: Take the grip of blaster
2: Glue on some TACTICOOL slide
3: Use new grip for any blaster for TACTICS
4: Get rid of GARBAGE blaster
5: ENJOY new angled grip

DUNG HA Okay, so? BoomCo's design of clips are better. Nerf's clips today just might fall out if it's not fixed in to the blaster. The Battle Scout is a perfect example of this.

+Coop772 for me it's 720p but then again I'm on mobile and no video has 1080p
If your on a older iPad (3 or 2 under) iPhone (4 under) or iPad Mini 2 or a older mobile device you can't watch youtube at 1080p 60 fps, 720p is the highest you can go. Or the video hasn't finished its full 1080p render on youtube :)
Outstanding video. You really do a nice job. Love the time-elapsed unboxing and then a slow down to explain the parts. Also love the quick video cuts and fast talking with terminology that even I could understand. And you are brutally honest which is key. Last thing, I appreciate you saying this thing sucks, unlike the [insert quality nerf gun you like here] so I could then go look the ones you like. Keep doing this same, exact thing. Lumen Roy yes but Cut the Front grip,put in a rail attachment piece which goes on other blasters and do the tacticool rough Cut Mod with the Rear grip.
Then sell the actual camera or keep it .

But it has tacti-cool suitcasemode with a tacti-cool flashlight. Seriously, if one day we will get a good performence elite delpoy i would like it.

The problem with the Tacticool suitcase mode was everyone knew it was just a Tacticool deploy in suitcase mode, so you can go "Hey guies I just brought my suit case to the HVZ game and now I am going to pull out my snap fire, lies its a blaster!" but that does not work, nobody is that dumb.

I got one of these for Christmas and the camera is crap but as long as you use the modulus darts with mine it's actually really good. Alot better than in this video. I don't know why.

I have a use for this PoS blaster!
If you assign roles in Team vs. Team Nerf Wars, then you give this to the really sneaky guy as an "OH SHIT!" blaster. Because he's the most expendable guy when the firefight comes, so he doesn't need a blaster unless it's to get past an enemy to report back to his team. And this is SLIGHTLY better than equipping him with nothing but a Hammershot/Jolt combo.

Mod the clip feeding area so theirs a locking click OR make a mag input

Coop u have a broken battlescout, my cousin has this Nerf gun and when you have fired ten darts the clip has to be taken out instead of what happen to you, where it ejected onto the floor and the ranges are better than this

I do own one of these blasters (completist!) and I agree completely with your review. This is a terrible weapon and I was also really surprised at the lack of rails given that it's branded as a Modulus. But, it happily lives in the boot of my car along with all the other Modulus blasters and add-ons, just in case the Zambie apocalypse breaks out when I am at work or something...
Love the new background, except you might wanna put more diversity on it instead a bunch of the same blaster. Love your vids
The cam is pretty much the same cam as the cam blaster(I forgot the name) just that it is like a "Modulus Version" where you can put it on "any" blaster

well my battlescout works and I like it also you used elite darts not modulus darts what upgrade kit should I get? a longfire upgrade or that kit with the laser dot secret agent thing
Hey coop, for some reason my strongarm performs better with the old orange darts (barricade era) rather than the elite darts. Why is this a thing?
(Btw the prongs on the inside of the cylinder that stop off brand darts from working are removed)

Where I live we had a huge nerf war (my team came 2nd) so some stores had a huge sale (on nerf) and the battle scout was half off and I was like "wow 30$" so I bought it and when I got home the first 2 darts launched a foot. It should have been 200 percent off :)

I would like to see nerf come out with more clip fed blasters because you could reload while its in the blaster and screw with people that call everything a magazine.

You know, if they re-released the BattleScout without the camera and packed in a couple of extra clips (or better yet redesign it to take Nerf Magazines instead) i'd probably buy it because personally i think it looks great and i'd love to start collecting the Modulus line

How to improve the blasters range: throw it at your target because that's the only way you will be able to use it

That feeding mechanism has more in common with an ammo belt than a stripper clip or an en-bloc clip

Also with slimmer darts, it makes a clip much less bulky

As bad of a blaster as it is, is it a good concept though? Like if they fixed the poor performance, and the clip overfeed, and put in a better camera, would you then recommend the blaster?

The only thing I like about this gun is the clip system. I wish they would make a fly wheel blaster with that clip system but easier to load

I think that camera would be okay on a flywheel where the recoil from priming isn't very high.
