Unlike many others, she does not get in the way of the music. She embraces each note and phrase. I am a total fan among many.
I' m also sad dear Beeguie passed away. She was my companion trough the quarantine and I am very happy and glad i had the opportunity to let her know how much her music helped. She even answered my post.

This is one of the greatest pianist of All Times. My mother and father were musicians, and I can appreciate MS. Beegie Adair. This video was 11 months ago. I read that she died Jan,2022. Her music will live forever. I am grateful, her music was recorded. I love her music and Thank You,Utube for bringing us this great artist of Music. May God bless her memory.This is amazing, that she was able to play so long and even in her elderly years. She will be Missed . So this may have been her last performance?
Sadly, Beegie died a week ago. God blessed world with not only an amazing talent, but a beautiful lady. Luckily, we will be able to continue to enjoy her beautiful music via her CDs and on-line videos. May you rest in peace, Beegie.

So I asked Google what I was listening to and it gave me the title and the musician's name. I immediately searched the who the musician was and since then I've enjoyed her music, it's the kind of jazz I really like. I like contemporary jazz too but her jazz is so relaxing and lift my emotion to a different level. Thank you for giving us wonderful music

Her playing was never a mess and what made it special was the creative chords she would use, sometimes surprising and just complex enough to make it sound very sophisticated. That touch and knowing just where to put it is what makes her sound unique.
