    Vision; you can see it but others cannot until they decide in believing in your Vision. I enjoyed this video.

    Mike be like the Walt Disney of the arcade, it’s all started with one man, one game and a dream! ✨

    Wow had no idea it took 3 years to accumulate your cabs, though in retrospect it shouldn't be a surprise given the difficulty of getting some of these and the condition they are usually in. I can't imagine the expense, especially the pinballs. What an achievement. Glad to be a part of this even if in the smallest of ways as a patron.

    I watched this previously once I originally picked up on your channel this year and currently rewatching. Great video, love following the journey I can imagine it was so fun. You put a great video together. Sadly watching from the UK so I can’t visit the arcade but keep up the videos, my favourite channel!

    It's one of my favorite stories in a long time. I'm glad you had the forethought to document it to remind yourself and show us. I could write so much. I wish I had some skills I could contribute. I stink at fighting games, but I remember my first time there, being drawn to the Simpson's cabinet just because of the way it stood out proud. I love the Star Wars trilogy but I still cant beat Boba Fett or Darth.

    Tim here! Finally got time to watch this video. It's amazing to see the starship humble beginnings. I had no idea people were selling cabinets for cheap. Thanks for getting that baby pacman for me too

    Loved this video! Seeing a passion project built from the ground up is inspiring. Definitely gave me much more appreciation for certain games that I'll give more attention to, next time I'm at the arcade.

    What is your background in electronics, or your ability to work on these games with great success?

    • @ElectricStarshipArcade
      @ElectricStarshipArcade  ปีที่แล้ว

      Great question. Zero electronic background, only went to idiot school aka TH-cam. Haha. I knew I needed a lot of practice to run this arcade successfully. That’s why I bought broken games for 3 years before we opened. It forced me to learn how to fix them.

  • @therobotuner

    Also, is your Dragon’s Lair cabinet a ROM conversion? I’ve read those laser disk drives in those cabinets would bust over time because they were always spinning when powered on.

    One game with better soundtrack than Rastan might be Raiden Fighters 2. Both are great tho!

  • @sandmanxo
    @sandmanxo 10 หลายเดือนก่อน

    Great video, but I never saw a Rastan in the wild and have no nostalgia for it and it sounds kind of mediocre to me. The first one that comes to mind for my is Gyruss, it just fit the game so well and was at least 'sort of' stereo.
