“The Pink Purloiner” is one of my favorite episodes. The Confess a Bear scene in the episode always gets me, especially the way SpongeBob shouts “TELL CONFESS A BEAR! NOW!” to Patrick.😂🤣👏
My favorite part of that scene is SpongeBob's disgusted reaction 😂 the noises 😂😂😂

Pink Purloiner is one of my favourite episodes, especially for SpongeBob and Patrick. So many great moments where SpongeBob tries to get the 'truth' out of Patrick and I love the ending 😊

The reason Mini Squidward is liked despite doing the exact same things, is because he has a better attitude. It's literally all Squidward needs to achieve his dreams.

Also besides driving spongebob literally has a closet full of trophies and the ability to make a krabby patty soo good that king Neptune wanted him to be personal cheif. I think it's working fine for him besides driving.
The fact they brought back Ol' Reliable in refrence to Spongebob gifting it to Patrick when he went to live in the wild. It's nice they throw in little touches like that.

Ah, Squid Wood. Probably the most frustrating Squidward torture episode of them all, as Squidward is having his life stolen by a wooden puppet of himself and it humiliates him in front of everyone, especially when Squidward is trying to do his own thing and mind his own business.
Oh, and keep in mind: Stephen Hillenburg was still alive around this time, so I'm not sure how he just let this slip by.

This is the earliest incident of it, outside of MAYBE SB-129 or the Camping Episode. What makes it much more bearable than other instances is Squidward’s emotions. He’s not depressed or crying his heart out, he’s just (rightfully) pissed off, which is far from a new emotion from him.

Jellyfishing is different. Squidward went out of his way to commit animal abuse after a simple mishap with his bike and a jellyfish. And the first chance he got, he harassed another.
Idk if i I'd call it the most, especially since it can be chalked up to him being his jealous stuck-up self. That's how i see it anyway. The only thing Mini Squid does that Squidward couldn't ignore was take his job. While it is definitely not a little deal, it's the only moment where something was really taken

I forgot about ‘The Pink Purioner’ episode, is one of those episodes that rarely aired much on Nickelodeon while growing up! It’s a great one though. Love see more of Jellyfish fields.
I hope they get to the handsome squidward episode. Can't wait to see their reaction to the MOST handsome squidward

I noticed SpongeBob voice is a bit raspy in the “Pink Purioner” episode. Tom Kenny may have been sick while recording this is one. It reminds me how SpongeBob voice sounds in the newer episodes since Tom Kenny has gotten older.
These two episodes explore concepts that later would tarnish: Patrick as a possible jerk, and Squidward suffering. Both the episodes don’t go too far though. Patrick is stupid, but innocent, and in these seasons, I’d fully believe he’d NEVER steal Ol’ Reliable. Squidward’s suffering doesn’t lead him to depression or the brink of tears or to paranoia. Just rage. That should be the limit. Piss him off, don’t smack him around.

Squidwood is such a Underrated Episode,i do is a little mean to Squidward but i liked the Idea and the Jokes a lot to care,and remember much the Classic "Cartman's Jennifer Lopes hand" Episode of the Season 7 of South Park.
And The Pink Purloiner despite don't being the funniest Episode of the Season,still a pretty sweet,generally funny and enjoyable Patrick Plus Spongebob Episode.⭐

The earliest Squidward torture episode was Jellyfishing, but at least Squidward torture was NOT the main focus of season 1.

Even in the pre movie seasons, Squidward has been a butt monkey and it's been on throughout all of the show. But which Season plays this up the most?

@Loner098 I think the worst Squidward tortue episode was surprisingly "The breath of fresh Squidward". Though, he was just annoyed in the beginning and not physically injured throughout the whole thing, he felt genuinely happy and grateful for his life after electric shock yet SpongeBob was just selfish and kicked out Squidward during his own party.
And it would've been a fine lesson like when Patrick got his license, but that didn't go anywhere
