I love how it looks, I love the way this is printable, etc. But I never had a problem doing it by hand with my normal soldering iron, in fact... there were times where I could use my soldering iron, and I am sure the item wouldn't fit under this 'thing'.
I use PINECIL in this particular video, but project has support for TS100 and all kinds of generic soldering irons with handle outer diameter from 15 - 20mm.
