I mean at this point just fucking buy a survival game on an island, its better than this empty crap. Or play the role play Cyberpunk board games....
No game doesn't need mods because no game is perfect. If you think a game would "benefit" from mods, then yes it needs mods. And fuck yea RDR2 needs mods, hell a simple mod that'd add the ability to skip all the "immersive" animations for doing every single action would be fantastic, cause yes while the animations are great, it can get very old watching Arthur skin the 500th alligator or meticulously open and search the 893470808th cabinet or drawer or slowly and surely search the body of his 1000000000th O'driscoll.
I've been spending a stupid amount of time lately messing with Cyberpunk mods myself and all I can say is you've got Night City looking clean af lol the most immersion breaking thing for me at the minute is pop in for npcs, assets and textures. It's really noticable while driving. Seems to be less noticeable at higher resolutions and settings but that's just a guess comparing TH-cam gameplay to what I see in my own game
Needs more NPC interactions, one of my most favorite thing to do in RDR2 was interacting with the NPCs, robbing them, taunting and enraging them which leads to fist fights to gun duels to the whole town being shut down or even just greeting them, adds so much dynamic gameplay.
THIS... This is what I was waiting for. I've been holding out on playing this till it reached somewhere closer to the true potential. Looks like it could be there
Still nowhere near what the promised The hype was about how cyberpunk was gonna be this new groundbreaking living, breathing world where everyone has their own schedule and you can be whoever you want in night city. Instead we get a generic linear shooter, and the character building sucks too, you're mostly just adding numbers to your damage stat. Very few actual skills and distinguishable features between the characters
@@caralho5237 well to be fair what they promised sounds impossible to pull of for even today's game dev technology. You are saying that EVERYONE in the city would have their own schedule? And on top of that you could do and be ANYTHING you want in the game? Not even rockstar with 2000 people given 7 years of time could make something like that. I just want to point out that the Stanley Parable made a joke about a game where you could do literally anything in their game. That's how unrealistic those promises are, joke worthy. More car modification ability would be nice too

@@thememeilator2633 What are you getting at? New to modding? People are hellbent on modding the game because the vanilla "game" is ass. CP77 is a boring landscape with half-assed coding. Witcher 3 has a big modding base as well. Besides, you can't possibly compare it to Bethesda products or Bethesda modding since they have the GECK. Bethesda cracked the code, they know how to make open world games, so modding there is just building upon that. Whereas with CP77 everything is fucking missing, so modders have to do it for CDPR from scratch. It's a moot point anyways, because Bethesda knows modders will finish their games for them for free as well.
@@jase276 yeah but it gives off the "this game is bad and these mods should've been in the game on release" vibe that i have heard over at bethesda modding for literal years. And i'm not saying they are wrong with some of those things the mods have added like car customization and romance overhauls but i have seen this happen multiple times over the years and this type of talk has always been associated with a young modding community however talented they are. Plus i just gotta add my own 2 cents and say CDPR has never done games like CP77 to that magnitude before. I have been playing through The Witcher 3 and man that game is rough around the edges, glitches happen a lot, the npc's are very subpar for a RPG game with their Ubisoft teir pathfinding and animations.
@@jase276 (note: couldn`t find your other comment so i`m replying to it on this one) Skyrim does indeed have schedules for most if not all of it`s NPCs however CDPR specifically said there would be 1000+ unique NPCs with schedules which is way more then Skyrim`s NPC count and significantly more then RDR2`s count as well, in fact i haven`t seen or heard of a single game that even comes close to that number with that approach to NPCs. and as for shaping you`re character however you want? eh I mean I guess you can but it is very simple. you get races to choose from but the differences they have are so minor in actual gameplay it might as well mean nothing other then appearance. classes don`t exist either and the closest thing that you could consider a "class" in the game is a choice between "warrior" "mage" and "thief" (huh kind of like CP77 origins I just noticed that) which the game disguises as perks with crossover perks between the "classes" to further disguise the 3 choice system. You like stealth? thief perks or "green perks", like melee? warrior perks or "red perks" and if you like magic then mage perks or "blue perks" it`s that simple and as for Roleplaying it might as well not exist in game either since like I said race does nothing other then make you look different and give you a single unique perk that depending on the race is useless or not after the first hour or so of gameplay. speech is the same no matter what, combat is the same no matter what (and I mean the races add nothing to the 3 choices I listed earlier), and that's not even talking about the fact that the game always starts the same way with the convenient "you are a prisoner who means nothing yet are the chosen one" trope that is in every TES game (which upon thinking about it makes the roleplaying part of the game even more irrelevant). my point is that yes CDPR needed more time and manpower, yes CP77 isn`t what was promised but some of the things they promised were in my eyes too good to be true with how outlandish they were (like Bethesda saying Starfield will have 1000 handmade planets yeah right), and some I do genuinely feel should have been in the game like story choices with consequences and being able to do story missions depending on you`re build (reminder that somehow FONV had that but like 100 times over in one game that was made in 18 months like... HOW).

The game was way ahead of its time, the engine was pushed beyond its limits, this game could be pheasable in the near future, in Unreal Engine 5 and a big dev crew.
The vanilla game is STILL not in a state that was promised to us, the fan base, and it never will be, at this point. Yes, I recognize the devs worked their tails off to improve the game. I have no hate for all the "ground floor staff" -- the people who actually roll up their sleeves and jump into the fray, and do the actual work. I just cannot stand CDPR's higher-ups. I appreciate that you didnt include the totally outlandish mods but rather everything listed here feels appropriate, as if it makes sense to exist in game. Great to have a full list like this compiled. Lots of content creators who cover mods only list a few at a time to be able to stretch out content for videos which can be annoying. Also what song is playing at the end?
I think we got a lot of content in the final game only thanks to the work of the modders.Similar to Mount and Blade, I think some code was copied almost 1:1

Awesome video! I have a question, Should I play now or wait for the DLC? With all these mods I have the desire to play and finish it, but the DLC should be very close now, just like version 1.7
I think you should play it now as it is already great. This game deserves at least a second run and when dlc comes out there will be a reason for replay.

What a great video! I do have counterpoints on some of the edits. Having you be able to steal cars and keep them makes it less rewarding to work hard to buy a nice car. I actually like how disgusting the water is currently because it paints a picture of how water will suffer from extreme pollution in a futuristic setting. True cyberpunk feel. One thing I wish was put in the random NPC dialogues would be then commenting on my clothes, cars, or weapons.

Driving is still shit, you still can't go into buildings and shops, there's still lifeless retarded AI goons waiting in points to get killed like meat while PS1 games have better routine behavior on npcs and PS2 games have done better gangs/interactions wars and territory capture all in one setting with cool gameplay mechanics.

Doesn't need? A couple, mainly classics. Wouldn't benefit? None.

Some really great QOL stuff in here. HUDitor in particular is a no-brainer, since your HUD should be adjustable in reality anyway, considering the setting.
I am still waiting for police to be a faction you can interact with (instead of just kill), for buildings to be accessible at all times of the day (even if you have to break in, and yes, even the ones that aren't really accessible), for the three origin choices to actually mean something (like actually re-entering corpo life if you want), for other apartments to be open for rent, for a reason to go back to your apartment, for the NPCs around your apartments to be different and for each place to have its own atmosphere, for actual immersive red-light content (instead of literally 2 rent-girls/boys and one side piece that goes absolutely nowhere), and for cars to be sold on lots instead of through an app on V's phone.
Actually, the more I watched this video, the more I wondered "why wasn't the vast majority of this stuff in the game upon release?" But so it goes.
Fingers crossed that they release some kind of "GOTY" edition ala-Fallout/Elder Scrolls, with all of this stuff implemented vanilla, on-disk.

@@jase276 (note: couldn`t find your other comment so i`m replying to it on this one)
Skyrim does indeed have schedules for most if not all of it`s NPCs however CDPR specifically said there would be 1000+ unique NPCs with schedules which is way more then Skyrim`s NPC count and significantly more then RDR2`s count as well, in fact i haven`t seen or heard of a single game that even comes close to that number with that approach to NPCs.
and as for shaping you`re character however you want? eh I mean I guess you can but it is very simple. you get races to choose from but the differences they have are so minor in actual gameplay it might as well mean nothing other then appearance. classes don`t exist either and the closest thing that you could consider a "class" in the game is a choice between "warrior" "mage" and "thief" (huh kind of like CP77 origins I just noticed that) which the game disguises as perks with crossover perks between the "classes" to further disguise the 3 choice system.
HOW).
The best mods have brought this game from a solid 8.0-8.5 to a 9.0-9.5/10. I can't wait to see all the mods get updated with patch 1.7 installed to further improve the base game.
7:56 idk why but that reminds me of that War of the Worlds scene where that car gets yeeted out of the hole by a Tripod before fully rising up from the ground.

I have a question, Should I play now or wait for the DLC? With all these mods I have the desire to play and finish it, but the DLC should be very close now, just like version 1.7
wait for dlc and 1.7
I think you should play it now as it is already great. This game deserves at least a second run and when dlc comes out there will be a reason for replay.
@@anlasma7942 this game still mediocore . gta sandreas still better than this . i will buy when they add more features
wait, it's not a multiplayer game so you are not missing out on not playing it right now
Good quality content. I'll wait for your list for 2.0 & phantom liberty update :)
Now this is the game I was hoping for. If the developers had released this kind of game, no doubt I would straight buy this game when it releases.
And how absolutely stable it runs ...
Effing Fun - tas - tic !!!
**drum-roll** & **facepalm**
Wow @Synth - this combo is amazing and I love it.. I don't usually comment much on YT but this set of mods is CHEFS KISS!! well done.
Sharing with friends so they know the move when they get into CP2077!!
You should make this into a collection or a wabbajack modlist to make it more accessible to people. I installed everything in order as you listed it and it doesn't work 😭😭🤣🤣
Yes please
This.
true
He said some mods don't work with others, watch the video again :)
@@DrakyHRT I can hear, and read, so miss me with the condescending shit. I paid attention to the listings. I didn't install anything that was incompatible with eachother, I chose one or the other as he said and listed. I left out the ones that were incompatible and there's still errors. Regardless, should still make it a collection for ease of access for everyone.
How much work you have put into that video and in the PDF as well with all mods and descriptions !!!! I just wanna say thank you, for the work you did put into it !
now add ChatGPT NPC and allow them to take actions based on their text output.
