- In this video I have reviewed Luminous Solar Inverter Solarverter Hybrid PCU Inverter of 2kVA (24Volts) Capacity. The Solarveter is available in 3kVA (36 Volts) also. In 3kVA Solar Inverter you can run loads upto 3kVA by using just 3 Batteries of 12 Volts Each while in 2kVA two batteries of 12 Volts will be required.

I would be surprised if its a good inverter. I bought a previous model and have literally cried fixing it again and again. All complaints did not result in any proper fix. Once you buy Luminous leaves you stranded with all the issues and problems post warranty. You buy an inverter for 5 to 10 years not 2 years. You will perpetually call their service engineers. The engineers are very difficult to come by. I stay in Bangalore , Still i receive service after 15 days . Sometimes they take months before attending to issues. The only solution they know is to replace PCB. Within warranty period they do not charge you. Once its over you pay through your nose to pay for these expensive PCB elements. Luminous has very poor research and development. This is obvious from the fact that they could not fix basic issue with their inverters after years of complaint by hundreds of customers. I suspect the company culture also as they lure their customers in and immediately after warranty they start charging expensive amounts e.g 25 percent of overall cost in one fix.
