Cyberpunk 2077's got a decent story and setting, but unfortunately Mike Pondsmith has no mind for geopolitics. It's literally impossible for Japan/Japanese to be so powerful in any scenario even resembling reality. The USA would NEVER let one of it's slaves supplant it in such a manner, and would deliver another round of nukings far before Japan/Japanese got to the level they are in the lore...case in point, the "Plaza Accord" with a gun to Japan's head, Japan is now what in its 4th "lost decade"??...😆 Just takes you out of the immersion, like North Korea conquering the world in the Red Dawn remake. Probably not gonna happen. An overhaul of the base game's systems would mean admitting the blatant false advertisement prior to release. CDPR has been pretending for some time now that Cyberpunk only got lambasted post launch because of the bugs and performance issues, when in fact even without those problems it is at best 40% of the game they actually promised. Giving us a working subway system for example NOW of all times would only mean that they were 100% aware of the absence of key promised/advertised features for the past two years. The thing that baffles me most is actually how people started praising this abortion of a game after Edgerunners, saying stuff like "Cyberpunk is good now" when precisely 0 substantial changes were made content or gameplay wise. Hell, modders have been showing better support for Cyberpunk than CDPR ever did. If this company gets even half the praise it did before 2077's launch with this DLC, then I'll be completely convinced that this community deserves to be scammed. Cyberpunk will likely never be more than a shallow action RPG tacked on to a bloated yet empty open world that copies looter shooter mechanics without understading them. CDPR made many mistakes, but the cheer amount of emotion i feel when i hear Geralt having a loving conversation with Ciri, or V expressing her hopelessness to Johnny and him doing his best to support her, tells me all i need to know about the passion behind these stories.
They will continue to make the same mistakes and burn gamers however.
Yet they were open owned them and corrected them for the most part can you name one or two more other AAA companies that did the same?
@@corail53 They literally patched the game numerous times since launch adding content every single time and allowed full refunds if people were disappointed, that's not "burning gamers" that's literally making mistakes and fixing them.
@@CloneLoli They still didn't care about players so much, they were willing to release the game in a half-baked state and be responsible for one of the worst launches in gaming history.
@@CloneLoli some mistakes cannot be forgiven when they were done intentionally. its like someone decided to stab you then offered to pay for your medical bills
Just came back to this game from 2 years ago, And I can tell it is in a very good playable state.
I'm closing to finish the main story and I'm enjoying it so far.
this game has made me cry so many times, it’s a shame more people don’t appreciate it. i’m excited for this expansion and all the new possibilities!!
Everyone loves this game, it's just more bugs than Skyrim.
Cyberpunk is a dead on arrival game
Simp harder. Maybe cdpr will notice you
@@parzival3632Dawg is mad that someone enjoys a game 💀
@@parzival3632 people aren't allowed to enjoy flawed games anymore?
this circlejerk of fuckwits and idealism never ceases to amaze me
i'd understand this if CDPR would be shitting out unfinished games on release over and over like CP77 was, but it's just a one-time thing so far, why already cry about it?
CP77 clearly had potential
Wake the Fuck Up Samurai its time to reinstall CP2077 ! 🔥🔥🔥
Finally, I'm so excited to try it
I just picked Cyberpunk back up. On my 3rd playthrough (since release). I didn't even know about this DLC until today, and I am soooooo excited that they're giving this game some much needed love.
Según se dijo hace 4 años el Multi jugador va a salir en unos años. Pero CDP dijo nada sobre un DLC.
This DLC is sick!!! I hope CDPR have learned their lesson and won't make the same mistake again. Excited for this!!!
haha
*snort*
This game is my favorite game of all time ,I have big hopes in this DLC!
Not my favourite of all time but definitely top 3 for me, I rate the game personally at 9.5/10
you really have low standards huh
If I had the same funds, team and preorder assets, I'd pro make a better game.
@@gunargundarson1626 you sound like a clown buddy 🤣
Bro this looks amazing. Hope more DLC pops up with different stories of night city people.
Not going to happen.
I think this is the only dlc cyberpunk will get but next year they’re gonna start working on the sequel
@@jerrywilde5885 are you sure they are going to work on a sequel? I thought they will work on Witcher 4.
@@TheCaptnJakk I went to their website once and applied for a developer job or something, they literally have one option in a drop-down menu that says "Cyberpunk Sequel"
@@andrea00001 are you sure you want to work for CDPR? I am sure there are better companies to work for as a SoftDev.
Excited to come back to this game. The storyline was so good
the storyline is one of the best ive ever played. i played every avenue to the end that game has to offer and every time i'm blown away... one of the best games ever made once the bugs were sorted out
Hopefully this will be an epic experience, not to mention the fact that we all want a positive and happy ending for V.
Yep and would be cool for johnny to return somehow also like a synth body maybe
Even if V survives, I bet it won't be a happy ending for V's relationships
Not in this town, not for people like us
@@dongshenghan1473 wrong city, wrong person,choom.
im so up for this. I love what you created.
I keep coming back again and again to replay this game. New content sounds like a dream. Im so ready!
WHY THE SONG IN THIS TRAILER IS NOT IN THE GAME, HUH?
V's voice again gives me goosebumps. Piece of art. Good luck, guys!
I played this game a few months ago and it's safe to say that they fixed 99% of bugs and it's easily one of the best games released in a while
Very true!
agree, they didn't give up and im happy of the result
They really haven’t, I had to go through certain save files to finish SIDE QUEST cuz the shit is still buggy til this day on the Ps5
definitely not one of the best games released in a while but it got the job done
@@antoniocharbonae8650 weird. Never heard of it. I played for more than 200 hours and encountered 0 bugs
Looks pretty dope, just hope it comes with the gameplay overhaul and systems that people have wanted since launch and will be included in update 1.7 as well, so people who were burned by the disappointing launch and gave up on the game can try it out and maybe enjoy it the way I have. Really dope they got Keanu back to voice Johnny again though, looks like he has a bigger presence in this than originally speculated.
I hope so too, but I won't hold my breath..
They won't be adding what everyone wanted, because its not everyone's game, and thats okay.
@@ENDERS. A lot of ppl still want this to be a GTA clone for some reason. They're going to be disappointed no matter how good this dlc is.
8.3k likes, tells them to ignore those players who wants the base game fix, whoever those people are I hope you back up your support with half broken games, meanwhile I shouldn't see games like Avengers die etc.
Cyberpunk will never surpass the quality threshold of a Ubisoft game, and we have to accept that.
Just finished Phantom Liberty and got done watching the entire credits speechless, This is the greatest expansion to any game I’ve ever played it’s phenomenal.
for real? how many hours is the DLC tho? and is it worth it in general?
This has to be good. The fans deserve that much..
They deserve nothing
But apparently PS4 doesn't deserve it... And probably won't get patch update for base game that this dlc no doubt includes...
@@Zero-0-Cypher lol PS4 didn't deserve anything from the start. They should have just dropped this game on last gen before it even entered release cycle.
@@krzysztof6591 hard truth, base CP2077 had zero business being on XB1/PS4 in first place. CDPR were stupid for marketing it on there. Shoulda been next gen only for 2023 release and 1st revealed it way later then 2018
At least the good fans deserve a good game 😏 fuck all the bratty spoiled fans though xD
I need this to be perfect, just finished all possible scenarios in the base game
I hope this is well supported so we maybe get another one further down the line. Love the game/world/story!
They already confirmed the cp2077 sequel was in development. Google the CDPR roadmap. I can’t wait !
@@ranma36 I hope it's more like what they original promised for this game.
I gotta feeling Cyberpunk is about to become the best game in the world
Played day one on PC, finished it in 200hr of intense pleasure... Can't wait to have more ! Didn't got this feeling since FFVII many years ago :)
It took 200 hours?
@@misteree416 You don't have to speed run it. Cyberpunk is life! You enjoy the game like the morning sunrise.
