I've only had 2 Oukitel WP phones. Same model, WP5, but that is because it took me two weeks of literally trying to break my phone before I finally did and then I happily bought a second one.
I'm talking about boiling it in water for several minutes, tossing it straight it up in the air and letting come crashing down to the ground( which is great around a group of unsuspecting people.. ahhh the complete shock and horror on their faces followed by confusion after seeing you pick up the phone and use it like nothing happened 😅),
I've chucked it at walls...yada yada .
For TWO WEEKS ..
So I'm curious....how good has the resiliency kept up? I'm hoping so ..

Sounds like you put these devices through the test more than most reviewers would. 😂
Sadly I didn’t put this one through the rugged test as much as I did with the RT8 tablet th-cam.com/video/8G-LjzrmF2A/w-d-xo.htmlsi=acF5dLZHDw7Nbke4 but I’m sure it would live up to the task.

Two questions please-
1) is there a 3.5mm earphone jack port?
2) if you open the charging port cover and the SIM card tray can you blow air through the phone (in other words if the port covers fail does the phone cease to be waterproof?)?

Hi,
1. There's no 3.5 audio jack on this phone
2. I have just tried it and funnily enough you can blow air through the phone. So you're right, should the cover fail that could put the phone at risk, unless it is protected internally in some way?

I lost a Ulefone due to the same design flaw ( in a Final Destination kind of event) and my 2nd Ulefone is going the same way- the port covers are falling off plus volume and power buttons failing after just 14 months. I guess it's not a problem if you change your phone every 12-18 months but I need a phone that is truly rugged. So, the Oukitel WP36 is only as tough as it's weakest link which appears to be the port covers Despite it's lesser performance specs I think I'll try the Motorola defy as the charging port itself is waterproof. Thanks again

It’s ‘ok’. It’s no iPhone and it needs lots of light to get some good pictures. It’s decent for its price.
