As the prosecution in the Trump ‘hush-money’ trial rests its case, a cross examination of Michael Cohen has the former Trump lawyer admitting to stealing tens of thousands of dollars from The Trump Organization. They waited for the prosecution to put on their show; then it was the defenders turn to prove them wrong.
What the prosecution put on was not what he was charged with. If you rob a bank, to tell about you committing adultery and never mentioning the bank robbery will not land you in prison, just maybe in family law court.
It doesn’t matter if the prosecution has a case, they have a biased jury.

The legal definition of a bonus, includes that it is NOT money due or owed, but voluntary. One cannot sue for a bonus not received I didn’t look it up here., but I am familiar with it. In past years., making sales for a company, they listed the majority of pay as "bonuses", and none of us could sue for it. It was completely within their legal right to withhold bonuses , and they were under no obligation to justify or give a reason for this Even though, those bonuses were a direct correlation with every single sale Bonus is essentially Gratis, a gift extra pay, not required or binding unless unable it is paid or given
