    Good video Justin. One thing I would add is even a fee only fiduciary can receive a commission from the insurance company. As you say, there is no free lunch.

      Thank you, and yes, financial advisors call themselves all kinds of things that are questionable. Speaking for myself, I am not allowed to get any commissions from an insurance company and continue to call myself fee-only. That's due to rules set by several organizations I belong to (including my CFP® certification). Getting a commission means I'd have to leave those organizations because they do not allow you to receive commissions for client work and call yourself fee-only. That said, it's the Wild West out there, and I'm sure people get away with it.
