@@Evantures lol, you can see the northern lights in Norway where it is much less cold. Only about 30 degrees fahrenheit in the winter. Due to the ocean currents.
yoga ayom I wouldn’t recommend.. the weather here is horrible and it’s so expensive. To buy a simple condo would probably cost maybe over $60,000. It’s very ridiculous. Even food, too. There’s not much to do here either. Very different from where you live. But it’s your choice, this is just a heads up from someone who currently lives in Yellowknife, NWT.
Hi there! Rent is even higher in Yellowknife than Iqaluit . But in terms of jobs , lots of government / healthcare and environmental positions . And hospitality/ food and services of course
Planning to travel there too and fly my drone. I travelled to Yukon last year up to Dempster highway but NWT was closed due to Covid so we ended up driving up to the Arctic Circle sign only.
Wait so the cans aren't even stacked up in some interesting way? They're just lying on the ground and the City of Yellowknife is telling people to go look at them lol. So dumb. Also lol at the boomers in the comments getting offended on behalf of littering. They do trigger easy.
I live in Yellowknife. It’s beautiful.
Your city is beautiful.
Might move there from Calgary.
Such a remote place.. I can’t imagine how they survive in below zero temperatures
There’s no such thing as bad weather, only bad clothes!
Well would you look at that, i live in Yellowknife. I'm used to the cold.
For like a full two weeks in the winter it’s like -50 here
@@theInsaneDude508 I can't imagine that. One day in MN it was -43C but for weeks it being -50C seems just ridiculous.
@@Evantures Well, there is bad cloths, were I live you can get heat stroke.. but I live in a extremely hot climate.
Good to see you still making videos Evan!
Thanks Sherri! Hope all is well
Brings back so many memories :))
I'm glad! I'd love to go back (After all this settles down)
@@Evantures Definitely
Yellowknife bring some memories during my childhood before teenagehood, i don't like living in city, because i get lost easy.. How Foolish myself..
Definitely on my bucket list to vist
The only time that I want to travel to yellowknife is in the summertime not in the winter...lol.
Both nice! Bracing the cold for the northern lights is well worth it! lol

@@SoloTravelerOffTheBeatenPath sounds like a much more comfortable option! Norway's on my list for sure.
Why not?
I wish I can have a job in here after graduate from my University. Love from Indonesia
That'd be quite the change from Indonesia. You should go for it!

I miss the life up there. Lived only for 1 year but it was awsome.
I would love to go check out the northern lights
worth the trip up here!
Hermosa ciudad!
How were the people there?
Ones I met pretty nice /reserved 👍
How's Yellowknife? Did u like it there?
Did you see any polar bears up there? Because I heard that people sometimes see polar bears in northern Canada!🐻
It was nice and very refreshing to see something different from Tokyo.
I also enjoyed the drone shot!😊
Much appreciated Lemi! Hope to go skiing in Japan someday
Can you imagine the heating bill 😱
coltukkor I live in yellow knife and I don’t even know because I don’t have a house yet
Whoever is said that on TH-camrs channel already before?
Ethan Jeremiah Bishop I do
Canada always does it right. Just sayin. From an American.
How much is one bedroom apartment
I'm in Iqaluit and 1 bedroom is around $1500-2000 (with no help from government) and $1000-1250 with subsidies.
So they might pay really good there ? I mean if one bedroom is 1,5000
Minimum wage should be 10k per month
Nice video 👍👍👍👍
Thanks for watching Kevin!
Nice city
I never seen so many skyscrapers in a 20000 city population
"Skyscrapers"😅 but yea its getting bigger
Красивый город и рядом с озером😍😍😍

Isn't the overwealming potential to get hypothermia during the winter a huge distraction to the people who live there?
Like I say. no such thing as bad weather... just bad clothing!
Nice vlog @@Evantures
What are the property prices there?
Pretty steep! (I’d Say more expensive in Iqaluit though) as it’s more expensive to ship material
Nice video
Being from Arizona U.S. just being outside would probably kill me. In the winter time here it will get down to a blistering 65 degrees or 18 C. lol
This video has more than twice the views than the population of Yellowknife
Hi from Mexico
hola!
Hola amigo, Sorry what i just said..
The only city in Canada that I like.
It's -31 C there right now, enough said.
-39 tomorrow... I'm in Iqaluit with a nice -3 though
I'm 6 hours north of Minneapolis, its not uncommon to get -45C here in winter no joke man
Why can't you just keep the camera steady. We can't watch when you keep spinning the camera so fast.
that was my first year with the drone/ camera 😅 considerably better now (I hope)
I just need an opportunity to immigrate to yellowknife with my family
I wish you luck! It's quite the spot
@@Evantures thankyou 🙌
