I agree with you... but I will also say that they both grew stronger together and they will love each other forever. They are meant to be, however long it takes, I know (and hope) they will be together again.
In fairness, it was her choice. But, I agree with the author of this video that it is only logical that they are end game - hopefully a teaser in S4 with a larger role in S5 if it is renewed and the availability of Flo.

I don't think the producers were invested in Maggie at all. She always seemed to be in the back of a scene until we got to #19 - that was a good script. The baby bit was a bad choice for many reasons like using Ruby, a pre-teen girl, to bolster the outcome. They could have had a conversation that included who is going to get pregnant and who has to quit their job if they can't afford a nanny and so on. It was unfair that all the bad stuff was pinned on Maggie.
