Covering an area of 189.21 square kilometers, Hupsekot borders Kawasoti and Devchuli municipalities to the east, Madhyabindu municipality and Nisti Rural Municipality of Palpa district to the west, Boudikali and Bulingtar rural municipalities to the north, and Kawasoti and Madhyabindu municipalities to the south. According to the 2078 national census, the total population of Hupsekot is 26,503, with 14,430 females and 12,153 males.
