Make a new line called "From the abyss" and its just a bunch of old nerf designs with the originally intended paint jobs. The Binary Squad Plus they could make sure the big nerf youtubers knew about it and informed their communities. And after all, what company wouldn't want a bunch of cash and to make their consumers happy? Sounds like a win win for the wallet and the PR department.

On the video game there was a way to determine if the blasters were real. When you select the blasters that exist in the real world you would see a trademark symbol next to the name, for example you select the Vulcan it would show up as,"Vulcan EBF-25™" but the Semperfire would not have that symbol. Now for some strange reason the Spartan had that symbol meaning it was trademarked and was most likely supposed to see production. But now I want the Hydra in my life.
He probably had the photos from Langley. He posted all of his photos after the tour of the facility on NerfHaven, I remember drooling over that first barrelbreak prototype for so long. It looked so much like a fan-built homemade. Hope this helps.
I love that Elite version of the Hammershot (it would make a fantastic backup or sidearm for an N-Strike Elite loadout), wish we'd gotten that an some of those Videogame only Nerf guns instead of the tat we did get

I actually have had the Hydra on my scratch-build wishlist since i saw it in the game. but my inexperience with mechanical systems at the time prevented me from pursuing the concept past the sketching phase. wish you good luck if you do go for it.

The Spartan NCS-12 looks like a mix between the Rayven thumbhole stock part and the stampede front part.
