I'm trying to improve on my mad hatter cosplay,. The snazaroo face paint isn't great for all over the face and since I'm black I need something with full coverage.
Have you tried applying face paint, and then adding the face makup and powder for a stronger brighter color
Yeah I've recently got the snazaroo face paint as im doing a rocky horror cosplay thing nothing serious and its my first time doing "Cosplay"

I’m doing kiyoshi warrior Makeup and it’s a nightmare. I’ve been using the mehron face white paint but will switch over to the clown white to try this method! Trying to Matte over my freckles with white paint is exhausting but thank you so much this tutorial will help me and prevent my tears 😭❤️
the clown white is a game changer bc the formula is a bit thicker and its full coverage. nice! your doing a kiyoshi warrior !
I've been using Mehron for the past five years for my classic Joker costume, and it works phenomenally. It really gives that bleached look without having to be thrown into a vat of acid 😂. Especially once it's powdered, it lasts a long while until you *decide* to wipe it off. And this tutorial really helps, cause it's always difficult to do a full face (ears and neck included) of white and still get it even.

OMG!!!! TYSM FOR THIS TUTORIAL, im a young cosplayer and ive been looking for the perfect full coverage paint and when i first saw Mehron makeup it cought my eye, i had no idea how to use the cakey lipstick textured mehron paint because it would always be messy and come off and i didnt know how I was gonna paint designs because the cakey paint will get picked up from the brush and now that i saw this i will have great experience! I know this video is old but since everyone is saying you really helped, I was hoping you may be able to help me. I’ve been doing white base makeup, using mostly Mehron products for almost 3 years. But I’m getting so sick of doing makeup purely because whenever I do a white base (no matter what brand) my skin looks like literal sand paper. And when I set it, it gets even worse (I’ve always used the Manic Panic Virgin powder as well). I’ve tried mehron liquid, stick, and the clown white you’re using and it all looks the same. I really don’t know what I can do to fix it.
hmmmmm what skin type/texture do you have? for me i never knew ni had dry skin i always thought it was oily bc my face would look good and then after an hour or two it went to pooo....i think maybe doing a chemical peel to even out your skin texture...since you said its like sand paper do you shave? if so i would try wax since it smoothens the face for a lot longer then shaving . or you could have an issue combining certain products with primers and moisturizers some items are not combatable
@@Von7animefreak I really appreciate your response and trying to help. I definitely have pretty oily skin. The only things I shave are my upper lip and eyebrows. I’ve used a few different types of primes, water base, dewy/matte finish etc, but I look the least like sandpaper without primer. I try my best with skincare but I’ll definitely look into some chemical peels. Thank you so much!

I’m definitely trying this technique. Snazaroo kept drying and flaking after about 10 minutes, requiring constant maintenance

i wouldn't recommend it i would recommend using a white liquid lipstick bc it will dry the crème will slip and slide even if u powder it

you can use any makeup ^^

Literally cannot get it to be not patchy just broke into tears trying
i would recommend washing your face before if any oil is left on the face sometimes it can be patchy. NYTHING I CAN DO TO HELP

Pressed powder is harder to blend .
pressed powder lasts longer in my world but it can be tricky...loose powder can be built up easily and reapplied easily
If I'm doing a black paint over white paint around the eyes and cheek bones; should I let the white paint dry entirely before applying the black or apply while white is wet?
i would outline all the black first and then fill in the white first then the black dear

Just curious, but how long does the makeup on your eyelids typically last before needing to be retouched? I use a water based bodypaint and it always fades and smears not long after.
the eyes, when im cosplaying outside i need to retouch every other hour. if you are inside its not as much ^^

You can use the cheaper water based body paint "creme" but if you don't apply multiple layers of that your sweat will eventually start ruining the paint
the small size is like 13$ from amazon dear . save some recycle and get it ^^

I am dressing up as The Crow for Halloween this year. Would I also have to out powder on the black, or would the powder ruin the black?
whatever color your using powder should be last. so for example..use cremes first then powder, ^^ Powder the white parts white and the black black ^^

Does this transfer on clothes? And if so can you wash it off your clothes? Would you suggest using a cream like this one or the paradise for Corpse Bride? Since I’ll have to be doing like my whole arms and chest. Also a bone arm and leg. Thanks for this white base tutorial!😊
it can transfer a little bit but not that much when you sweat it tends to transfer more i recommend to try your best not to make contact with anyone like a deep hug or you can put a towel down in the car if you paint your body

I have a question. When you applied all those, how does it feel to tour face skin ? The same as regular makeup or it feels hotter ? And how u remove the makeup ? Im wondering, i want to try learn about cosplay n drag makeup but im still doubt.
Plus. For the rest of makeup, let say the eyes part, we can just use the regular eyeshadow or u recommend specific special colors for eyeshadow ?
it feels a lot thicker and heavy but with the right amount of powder it will stay put . i will do a video about makeup removal

depends on if you are using an oil base or water base color . i will make a tutorial explaining . ^^ you can paint over but i would use a dab motion and not swiping , it could make the colors appear muddy/unblended

@@Von7animefreak Thats really not an ok response...Peoples cultures and ethnicity are not a costume. I may not be Japanese but i know becoming a Geiko is extremely hard work and is a way of life for those people. It seems pretty insulting to suggest you can don that for a costume for a night, doesnt it? Not to mention those kinds of costumes contribute to the objectification and fetishizing of Japanese women.
Instead of suggesting "Geisha", perhaps you can suggest "Shironuri" instead. Its a type of white face japanese make up expression anyone can use.
People shouldnt be wearing costumes of your people, either. It definitely contributes to violence and racist sentiments in people. Just because you personally say you arent cryiing about it, doesnt make it okay for anyone to be racist towards your people.

its not waterproof sadly. it does last a while on the skin but being outside will cause a few creases . i will invest in a waterproof regime for those occasions .

Does the White smear when you touch it or is it dry?
its matte for hours but i recommend bringing the white powder to blot the oil..just like any other creme makeup the weather plays a part as well but let me tell you hunny when i co-splayed my makeup was flawless for hours

I got mehron clown white makeup and First time I wore it was great but the second time I’m not sure what happened and it got super cakey and was coming off a lot and peeled off I don’t even know what happened any tips to prevent this? I’m gonna use the makeup again for a convention in January and I don’t want it to come off 😭😭
sometimes it happens maybe its the product or our skin that day i noticed makeup looks horrible on me on certain days
