    One tip of forgot to mention is turning down emissive materials to 1 NIT or less …. They can also destroy your scenes lighting

    Hi. Love your videos, great work. A work around I have found for cameras is to move further away, and use the clipping feature. That way the lens distortion is reduced. Hope that helps.

      Thanks for the tip! I’ll have to try that and see!

    I’m very new to this channel. You might have addressed it, but definitely if you are putting any new construction around the chimney depending on your municipality verify the fire codes for any construction within 4 feet of it

      @@msmanigault2555 cheers, I appreciate the gut check. Local codes and regulations in my state only require 4” clear between face of brick and combustible materials. But, your comment is making me think i will call my local building department to verify. 🤘

    Good morning Jeff, unfortunately I missed the live stream, but watching the video now. I would like to now what material and settings you used for the bathroom mirrors in Twinmotion ?? My mirrors are picking up the outside HDRI material only and not the models that are in front of it. Also, I am still struggling to learn and tweak the materials in Twinmotion to get them right.

      The mirrors are just he out of the box mirror material. It is reflecting the world and not the objects because you probable aren't using Lumen or have the quality turned down in your settings.

    Great video. In a residential project we did for our client, who is a developer, he gave the 3D model to an outside company for rendering. I noticed they created a weblink (similar to Enscape) with saved locations that I could click on to navigate to different areas. How can we create something like that?

      @@shahh.5124 the premium version of Twinmotion lets you do this. The free version that comes with Revit subscriptions only limitation is not being able to publish to cloud

    Hi! I You mentioned using 1/4" shower tile along bathroom walls. I'm having trouble figuring out how to create tile patterns for bathroom/backsplash with specified sizes like 12x24 etc.. - have it show in elevation sort of like a hatch pattern, and when rendered in say Enscape - have it show on the wall as a tile wall, with grout and the specified material that I need it to be. Do you have a video on this? I can't seem to find anything on your channel, but I might be looking in the wrong places. Thank you so much!!!!!

    Have you had issue with materails coming over form Reivt to Twinmotion? All my current Revit materials loose thier colour and normal maps when I open the revit model in Twinmotion. I know I create these again in Twinmotion but it adds alot more work. Love your channel by the way.

      When I know I am using TM I don't bother assigning textures in Revit. Yes, I make materials and adjust graphics, surface patterns, cut patterns, etc... But then I just assign materials in TM. Assigning them in TM is faster in the long run then dealing with Revit's awful texture process.... Especially if you dont need them in Revit anymore!

    What is the shortcut to create the Scopebox so quickly?

      I think you are referring to Section box in 3d. Select the items you want to show in 3D from the plan and hit "BX"

    I think doors that open in 3d are essential unless you replace them with Twinmotion doors.

    • @TheRevitKid
      @TheRevitKid  4 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      You can do either or... I can open them in Revit during the export, or even add an animator for my Revit door in TM. You don't need to replace them anymore if you import and keep hierarchy. TM lets you pick your rotation point for animators now, too!

    • @Constantinesis
      @Constantinesis 4 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      @TheRevitKid Yeah you are right, rotating them manually or animator is a way to do it
