Is this accurate in terms of the style meaning origin? Like Medieval or Renaissance. I am writing a story and want to use this type of stuff and need it for a scouting / archery contest in the story and want to be as accurate as possible.

The faster you go, the shorter aiming time. Youi get points for the time as well as the result from shooting. If You shoot well when riding fast, You probably are aiming instinctively in a good way.
