From here way east on the continent to you out way west on the continent thanks for what you do and for your professionalism and respect you show your customers. I don’t know how your channel popped up in my feed but I’m glad it did. I enjoy all your episodes. Best of success!
I grew up in Cali, Long Beach , pawn shops are heavily regulated, here in Texas there are MANY, in a 3 square mile area near bunker hill there are 17! The corporate ones suck, but the independent ones negotiate on price, I’ve gotten great deals on video games and Tools
I watch another show called Pawn broker pickers, this guy & his father scour yard sales finding hidden wealth, its really interesting stuff. There's many ways to make $$ legit in this World people need to get out & hustle. You can make 4 or 5 times more profit by buying & selling items on EBay or FB market place.
Thanks for the content brother, I enjoy watching the videos. I have been a silver stacker for the last few years and I am also real big into gold jewelry. I stack my silver and wear my gold. My favorite style of necklace is the Franco chain. These videos help inform people so they don’t get scammed and I respect that.
Thanks a lot bro. The Franco chain is one of my favorites as well. The Franco chain design is timeless and versatile. Will never go out of style IMO. Just need to maintain the chain regularly due to the tightly packed links but definitely one of the most durable chains. Will keep education people as much as possible brother. 👊
I have watched a few of your videos and am glad you are putting this fake gold scam videos out there. They got my friend for $300 at a gas station. I told him nobody is going to sell you a 50 Gram plus gold chain for 300 when they can pawn it for at least 1,500 Plus depending on purity.
It's exactly why I'm committed to spreading the word through these videos. It's tough to see good people fall for such scams. Hopefully, my content can help more folks spot the red flags before they're out of pocket. Keep sharing the knowledge, and maybe we can save a few more people from similar situations!
I Always find value in your content Gary, education is the mother of all inventions and I appreciate that you take all that bunk gold off the streets, hey man 70 grams of gold for $40.00... if it looks too good to be true, then it always is 100% of the time, thanks again for the valuable information.
New subscriber. Binge watching your Videos. Observation. Very entertaining people watching in your store. Looks like a Very Nice shop! First Guy was a Low Volume Mumbler? Interesting asking customers Where did you get this????? Most act like its a Trick Question?
Another great video! Just curious, are there any specific type of items that you enjoy buying for the shop? Besides the obvious answer of the ones that bring in the most profit when selling haha. New subscriber, so I apologize if you have already answered this in another video. Thanks!
Great question. You see many channels always posting the same content and merchandise taken in which would happen to be Gold and Silver in different forms. However, if I relied on only precious metals than it would be difficult to keep the doors open. I love to take a variety of different goods such as high end electronics (Avalon, Antelope, Neumann) to rare vintage items (Tube Amplifiers, casino chips, retro game consoles). I will upload some content of merchandise that comes in and the process of selling the item and showing how much we made.
New to the channel. I find this stuff so fascinating and intriguing. My only issue is the music in the background. Making hard to make out the conversation
As a precious metals enthusiasts, I very much appreciate that you go out of your way to get fakes out of the market. They should make you the U.S. Ambassador to China. China is ground zero for fakes and counterfeits. You would be way better then the type of fools typically appointed. I enjoy the channel brother.... THX!!
Thanks for watching and also appreciate the feedback. Been very busy but might try to drop two videos a week. Doing all the editing myself and boy does it take awhile.
If you use a very strong magnet which is a Neodymium Magnet the sterling will move because it is diamagnetic. In the video I am referring to the jewelry snapping to the magnet like it has been known to do with the fake gold scams.
I can only imagine how many crack heads and meth users you are getting in your shop with stolen goods and fake merchandise. Plus there is also the risk to safety with those unstable people. To be honest i am not sure i could take the kind of risks you are taking and people seem to think that running any business is easy but it really has some major exposure with your capital if you guess wrong. Kudos to you man!
BTW, be careful with slabbed silver Eagle coins. They can pass the magnet test and sites like Temu and Ali Express are selling these and they look real. You need to have a metalytics tester that test for metal composition to really catch those. They are getting really really good at the counterfeiting.
@thereliablepawnbroker thanks amigo really enjoyed the video was all content and no fluff bs i like how you left it to interpretation and up to the viewer to decide but you definitely handled both super professional 👏 keep it up looking forward to all the content going to binge watch all the old stuff now 😆
I would have returned the necklace to the customer instead of taking off the street. With you keeping it in a bag would have put doubts into the customer mind with your intentions.
If you have the knowledge and the equipment you can take gold filled and gold plated jewelry about 25 lb and refine it to about an ounce or two of 24 karat gold. Lots of videos on TH-cam how to do it
Both guys knew they had nothing, just taking their shot. Cool to see real interactions, keep up the good work boss
I appreciate the support and thanks for watching.
At least they're trying, you never know, we all have a drawer full of old coins or junk you're Grandma left.
The first guy… “my luck is shit today.” Lol
He got me cracking a laugh as well when I heard it. 😂
I’m on a watching binge just watched 14 videos straight
I think that the first guy is a classic hustler, doing a bit of a bait and switch. "I'll sell these tools. Oh you don't buy them, I got a necklace."
Possible but in my opinion he probably had no clue of what he had.
From here way east on the continent to you out way west on the continent thanks for what you do and for your professionalism and respect you show your customers. I don’t know how your channel popped up in my feed but I’m glad it did. I enjoy all your episodes.

First guy was definitely honest. Fact he didn't want it back shows he doesn't want a false doller n the pocket. Good vid fam!!
Thank you for watching and I appreciate your input. Stay tuned. A lot more coming.
This man the straight up GOLD POLICE, he said” I don’t want this on the streets” lmao sound like an old episode of COPS when they find a gun 😂🤣

Hello Kevin. Thanks for the comment and appreciate the support. Will do my part.
At least the 2nd guy was upfront about he "hope it is gold", but he clearly knew it wasn't. Congrats on your subscriber goal.
Thank you!

It would push your views over the top!
2nd guy cracked me up
You haven’t seen anything yet. 😂
Just found your channel. Just starting to buy silver coins from the US Mint. What’s better to buy. Proofs or uncirculated?
This seems to be the era of scams, especially online. I've learned a lot from watching your channel
Audio sounds good! 👍
Good to hear!
How do you do 4 months. When all pawn shops i know do 30 days..holidays included..one guy even included the day he closed for medical procedure.
Video coming soon explaining why. Remember the Pawn License is State Issued. Each state has different pledge times and rates.

LOVE YOUR VIDEOS LONGER VIDEO WOULD BE GREAT
Thanks for watching and also appreciate the feedback. Been very busy but might try to drop two videos a week. Doing all the editing myself and boy does it take awhile.
If that chain is Sterling silver would it still have value??
If it was you can calculate based off silver weight. You can use kitco to calculate the price. This piece was plated with copper being the base metal.
I think the second guy was trying to see if he could pass it as real gold.
Very possible. Not sure why anyone would melt gold and other metals together. Just leave the jewelry as is and sell it for scrap.
the second guy thought he found a way to make gold..
U da man
Much love from kelowna bc canada
Welcome Aboard Canada. Thanks for the support!
If it's silver base metal the magnet won't pick it up either.
Correct. Gold Vermeil is when a gold coating is used over the top of sterling silver.
A strong magnet will move sterling silver

🤦🏼♀️ did the second guy say he made it???
Yes he did 🤷🏻♂️

That’s crazy they are trying to one up you with those fake chains no shame 🤦♂️
"Yeah, it's quite a spectacle when people go that route.
Awesome content bro keep feeding us the videos !!

looking forward to all the content going to binge watch all the old stuff now 😆
Appreciate you.
Is there anything real that comes in
The first guy must be 60 & to think that he has zero things of value says alot. Maybe deep down he's a nice man but you can't pawn that.
Can always tell by the way they act when you give them the news about there fake gold.
Made me a good judge of character 🤷🏻♂️
here's my comment
Great job sniffing out the fake stuff.
Always ready!
The guy with the tools and chains was sleazy and irritating
I think his name is quagmire
Druggies
