    For those who don't have 3D printer to test this part, you can purchase
    this upgrade here bit.ly/2FWJFLu (available for delivery within Malaysia only)

    Hi there, I am wondering that is there is a way to get the 3D model? It's a little bit difficult for me to model it on my own.Thx a lot!

    Thanks for your interesting videos. I am about to buy a Tello and practice some image analysis task with Tello. But here are some questions that did not find a proper answer for them. if you have the answers please share with me:
    1- I reviewed many articles about difference between Tello and Tello EDU. I know their SDK is different. but does it impact any features of drone for doing Python commands or does it prevent from over heating issues?
    2- I am really concerned about overheating problems. I saw your other video regarding overheating solutions. is changing below cover is a good solution for long term? or it may prone internal chips to physical damages? can we just run the Tello without below cover?
    Many thanks in advance

      1. Some of the python command only support Tello EDU. Not sure if Tello EDU has better cooling performance.
      2. I have tested flying Tello without bottom cover and the result I got was Tello keep flying upwards. Beware if you want to test this outdoor. Lucky for me I test indoor and it hitting top of my ceiling.
      Not sure for long term is good solution since the design exposed bottom part and prone to dust and sand. But from my findings I see significant result when expose the bottom part for more air ventilation

      I haven't bought any new Tello so can't compare the performance. I guess the issue remained persist
      due to condition where ni software development, usually Tello not moving a lot.
      The passive cooling system using heatsink need ventilation to dissipate the heat, this can be correlate
      when Tello is not moving a lot, the heat dissipation not happening effectively.

    I have an idea.
    Wouldn't it be best if you would just remove the plates. The benefits would be:
    - less weight;
    - the best cooling scenario;
    I do not have my tello yet, but I am about to buy one. So I am not sure if the plates are crucial or not for the fiscal integrity of the drone, but from what I can see they are not. Tell me if u try it please, or if u would consider it.

    • @robotandcode1474
      @robotandcode1474  3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      That may work, but if I’m understand you here, the plate is referring to the heatsink to dissipate the heats produced by the CPUs.
      Not sure if good idea to remove it completely, and moreover I don’t want to heavily mod the Tello. Like to keep it as default as it can be.

    • @user-2uf2kr2c
      @user-2uf2kr2c ปีที่แล้ว

      Hi, i don't think it's a good idea because i think the plate protects the electronics/heatsink from collission, moisture etc. I think that if you cut the slats out of the original bottomplate so that the heatsink would be more exposed it will make a big difference. And you can keep your tello as original as possible. Regards

      I shared the 3D print files at the description. 😊👍

    • @robotandcode1474

      Hi, I think Tello FPV phone app can do that, but if you are looking forward to develop your own software, this work here from Hanyazou might help github.com/hanyazou/TelloPy.
      For me, I derived work from hanyazou to create my own SDK with generic interface.
