Yo it's Zarn, the guy who disappeared from the lumber mech story! The stories are coming together! Love seeing your creations and stories every time! Keep it up!
Soooo, we’re Fijians out a little more about what the Blight does, and that disappeared people can sometimes reappear, in a vastly different time and place. The plot thickens!!
This is great!! I'm glad I could contribute to the Beyond the Blight canon. Also oh man you did way more of a diorama than I did, one of these days I'm gonna have to pick up some XPS foam and go to town. Loved seeing it all come together like this!
the bar owners voice reminds me of the forklift mechanic at the plant I work at his name is Rick. He had throat cancer and was told he would never talk again but that didn't stop him from talking again. Awesome build, I can't wait till the book comes out.
man, someday when i have enough time, i gotta go back and rewatch all your videos so i can draw proper connections between all your stories. aegis is such a cool setting, i'm really exited for the book!
Thanks! One of the challenges of this project was coming up with a storytelling system that could be enjoyed in any order, and part of the fun is letting viewers rewatch the videos to piece it all together for themselves!
Gamey. You're doing exactly what you were made to do. Not necessarily the videos, but the builds and the story telling. You even speak with a focus on clarity, tone, and specifics. You're a born storyteller. Every story I can close my eyes and see.
I only speak the truth. Ill follow as long as you make the videos. Looking forward to the book if its not to expensive. Im a beginner in leather work if you ever want the map to be done@gameyybuilds
Thanks Dan! I realized as I was doing them that there’s a real skill to knowing how to design the panels to have that sci fi look. It’s good to look at references when doing them. Trickier than it seems for sure!
Enjoy your channel very much. While you’re building a subject, you have already have a story to go with it. The two seems to go well together and makes the build worth it.
I forgot to watch this episode like the first two days and it basically threw me off this channel like I stopped getting suggestions for it. It really made me sad and it took me a while to figure out where to find it. :( I really like this channel and it deserves a lot more attention
Yep, that's what happened with this video. It didn't get a lot of clicks on the first day because so much other competing content went up that day, and it got buried. Oh well! Hopefully over time it'll get traction. Thanks!
Lovely build, helpful insights into doing my own stuff. Yer usual high quality stuff, with the usual humbleness. Thanks again, for taking me to another place.
Glad to know that the logers friend is ok. Well, kinda ok, but this makes me wonder if all the stuff taken by the blight will just show up randomly. Like whats stoping the blight from dumping the flood walker onto Len's ship lol Or it could spawn the land rover duo with our beloved tresher hunting group. I would kill to see how that would play out haha
Gameyy, if you're curious in experimenting, you can actually put Weld On into a syringe bottle you can get from a hobby store and use it to dispense the adhesive directly between the two panels. Weld On is thin enough and non-polar so it will wick itself between two plastic surfaces. I used it for years to bond clear and transparent acrylics together without having any bubbles in the joint. If you're getting trouble having it wick itself under material, just hit the surface you want to weld with a couple rubs of around 200-400 grit sandpaper to rough it up a little.
@@gameyybuilds A syringe bottle or pipette also helps with the evaporation issue. I can fill a 2 oz bottle halfway with Weld On and it will sit for weeks on my shelf without completely evaporating. I don't know what the generic name for them are, but I sourced the syringe bottles from TAP Plastics since they were a hobby store a few blocks from me. The bottle I use for Weld On 3 is their 23 gauge bottle. But, yeah, Weld On is my go-to for any plastic to plastic bonding. The guys working the floor at the TAP store talked me into experimenting with Weld On on some scraps of plastic they had and I'm a believer.
Heck, while watching Sublight's build I just thought about it. Weld On also makes a different formula called Weld On 16 that has a plastic filler added to their adhesive formula. It's more like wood glue in its consistency, and it will help patch in small seams or gaps between two pieces. If you don't have access to 16, you can melt acrylic dust into 3 and make your own filler. Also, for small details you can use tweezers or something to dip the entire piece into weld on 3 for a few seconds then stick it in place. The weld on will evaporate from the surface of the plastic and leave it unharmed to the naked eye. Kinda cheaty, but I've done it with warhammer figures to attach small bits before.
Hey gameyy! so nice to see another video so soon! if you like space ships and whatnot you might enjoy playing a game called space engineers, kinda random i know but i think you'd enjoy it and could do alot with it!
If you haven’t sold them already! I think those Lego battle droids would make really cool robots in your world!! either if he use a larger scale diorama or if you want really tiny robot droids!
man this was so cooool i watched it in 4kHD and i loved it i cant wait for mor :D But remember to take your time i would rather have you be happy doing this then obligated :]
I'm always so curious- how do you find the music for your videos? It adds so much to the story of the build and the world to have just the right music to set it to.
I spend a LOT of my editing time finding just the right music to fit, and often I edit to the music (keeping timing with the beat, ending during fade outs, etc). Also, I almost always edit the music tracks (trimming, speeding up, slowing down) so that the timing is as close to perfect as possible. Music is a huge deal for me.
Hey man, awesome build I always love your stories. Is the lost lumberjack from this video the lost lumberjack from the boiley hobby time collaboration?
My head cannon is that the tentacle monster is something like a sarlac pit from Star Wars, a massive creature that lives in that swamp with a complex digestive system and poor dude probably just escaped from one
Pixelating is destructive. The only options to uncensor pixelation are AI tools. Not sure there are any tools that could depixellate something like text. There’s not enough data in the original to get accurate results. If I’m wrong, share your info. I’ll be happy to edit and upload if necessary.

You got it! Thanks for watching!
@@gameyybuildsI wonder what made Zarn Terrified?

Did somebody say "blight cannon"?
the bar owners voice reminds me of the forklift mechanic at the plant I work at his name is Rick. He had throat cancer and was told he would never talk again but that didn't stop him from talking again. Awesome build, I can't wait till the book comes out.
Good for him! Thanks for watching!
Sounds like someone I'd want to sit down and have a drink with lol

Great build. I'm with you and I love the shape of the craft. Off to check out Sublight Drive now.
Thanks! I hope you enjoy Sublight Drive!
Dude!!! The return of one of my favorite stories on here! Wooooooo
😉
This got lost in my timeline somehow, glad I've caught up. Great job, buddy. I'm going to try out some of those panel lines.
Thanks Dan! I realized as I was doing them that there’s a real skill to knowing how to design the panels to have that sci fi look. It’s good to look at references when doing them. Trickier than it seems for sure!
Can’t wait for a full story to come out of this world. The amount of world building makes this place so ripe for epic stories!
You really nialed this one in every way 👍 the triangle base makes for a really cool composition
Excellent build love the story too
Thanks a bunch Brian!
Great collaboration. Nice use of that triangular shape for the base. I especially like how the model extends beyond the base.
Love the stories to go with the builds, looking forward to the book
Thanks for watching!
These videos are little nuggets of enjoyment.
You did a great job there. This is the most visually exciting diorama I've ever seen. Great composition! Thank you for your high quality content.
Love that you did a collab with Sublight Drive! Both of you are amazing creators!
Enjoy your channel very much. While you’re building a subject, you have already have a story to go with it. The two seems to go well together and makes the build worth it.
Phenomenal!!!
Looks so freaking awesome!
Thoroughly enjoyed the story and build with my afternoon cuppa.
As always you knocked it out of the park both with the build and story
Thanks so much man!!
Really dynamic addition to the world build!!! Love it!!!! 🥰
love how you transformed the nerf blaster into a ship! super cool!
I really love how the stories are linked to eachother. The build looks amazing. Also always interesting to see new things in the working process.

This is an amazing build, and story🎉🎉🎉
Now that is a build! You and Sublight Drive really did a great job! Both videos remind me of the old Terran Trade Authority book images.
One of my favourite builds so far! I can't wait to see how it all comes together in the novel!
Glad you liked it!
the story and the ship design were awesome
I love seeing the stories lining up! it adds such a nice layer to each story
Thank you for sharing your skills and imagination - both model building and story telling - with us yet again!

As always, top-notch. I am looking forward to the novel.
Hats of to you, sir.
very nice, all! got glued to the making process and the plot was a nice narration on the side.
Oh, nice one Eric! Love the colors in this one. The base compliments the ships so good!
Thanks man!

Very cool build, you and SLD make a great team!
Thanks for watching!
This is awesome! Love the idea and your work is great! I watched the Sublight Drive video too and this is a great crossover!
Love a story that gives me shivers. Definately hit right with this build.
I'm thinking 80s Terran Trade Authority art books vibe. Like it!
Incredible work! Thanks for sharing this.
I have no words, truly an inspiration for storytelling and creativity

"Babe wake up, there's a new Gameybuilds video"
at 1:44 "im not one for setimentality." _-_ proceeds to build meaningful art. lmao
And then proceeds to toss it on a shelf as soon as the video is done ;)
amazing as always
Wooot.. Gameyy and Sublight both hit this out the park. Great work (Go see the other video)

The real horror of halloween was to see someone just disband an organized drawer system instead of buying new drawers lol
cant leave us on cliffhanger
Huh, the ship initially looks like a Necromonga ship from Riddock. In other news I just got some of your shirts and they’re awesome!
Chur from NZ
Thanks so much for the support, glad you like the merch!
Wait so is this the same lumberjack? I can’t remember his name. Fantastic work!
Poor lumberjack got kidnapped by the tentacles.
looks realy greate
G'day to you, Looks and sounds like something you would find here in Aus. lol! Armadale West Aust.
yo it's was the man form the lumber, biuld
Hey man, awesome build I always love your stories. Is the lost lumberjack from this video the lost lumberjack from the boiley hobby time collaboration?
What was said: "Painting this ship"
What I heard: "Painting this sh*t"
