I'm curious why the interviewer didn't open with her questioning Harry's motives for doing another interview with the British media if he is so against them.

How do you expect them to distinguish between what you do want them to write about you and what you don't, when you won't stop feeding them titbits? It's like saying to a lion 'eat that meat over there, but not this meat here'. And to blame the public is grossly unfair. We get no say about what the media lay before us - if it's there, of course we will read it, but we are not avid for private personal info about H's life. He is the one who keeps forcing it down our throats. If he took steps to be absolutely private, we'd never hear about him again, and we'd all be delighted.

As a Brit I can tell you right now that "granny" would not approve of Harry's actions over the last four years let alone this vendetta with the British press. I haven't watched his latest outing with the ITV documentary because I've heard it all before. He knows that he and his wife are deeply unpopular here in the UK but saying that he won't bring his family here because it isn't safe is absurd and he knows it. Maybe he should try to curb his wife's penchant for calling the paps every time she steps outside her front door.

Its interesting that H is so offended by Diana being called paranoid. She clearly had a range of mental health conditions - as do many people, but H's reaction appears to indicate that he's embarrassed/defensive about it. This is like the reaction that people experiencing poor mental health received decades ago. He has a massive chip on his shoulder about his intelligence, his mental health and his achievements, which is fueling his narrative and campaign to rewrite history.

Context: milly dowler, a British school girl who was murdered by a serial R worder-the tabloids were hacking her phone and deleting messages hoping to get new messages from the mum or killer. This made the police believe she was alive when she’s actually been abducted and already killed by a serial r worder.
They interefered witha very serious police investigation and the country was disgusted. That was the main phone hacking scandal and the paper involved was shut down.
That was a murdered little kid. I believe the paper had to pay compensation to milly dowelers family.
Harry getting spied on for smoking was way way down the list. No way could his trauma have compared to the Dowlers, he was way down list of victims!
This is like a history lesson it’s so old. I’m British and remember the actual hacking scandal at the time.

We know that it was Prince William who first raised concerns about phone hacking with police, not Harry. I remember reading that once investigations were underway, William took a backseat with the intention that all other cases should come forward before his. He didn't want to dominate proceedings and in particular, he wanted the case for Milly Dowler's family to have priority. I wish I could quote the source of the article but can't recall it. It's no sin or weakness to choose to settle out of court and there are countless reasons why someone might opt to do so. Last I heard, William's court settlement was donated to Invictus, I wish the interviewer asked Harry what he might do with any settlement he receives?
This interview will seal Harry’s fate with the Royal Family once and for all. It is the ultimate betrayal.

In my opinion, Harry has always been a nasty, vindictive, spiteful little jerk. I think he always tried to take revenge somehow if he couldn't get his own way. He simply will not accept being told no. This whole vendetta against the press stems from the fact that he can't stand being called out over his bad behaviour hence his still trying to get revenge over something that happened over 20 years ago. Yes, of course hacking people's phones is reprehensible but that has all already bern dealt with in this situation. I don't know why he thinks that if, as a public figure, you behave badly, no one should call you out on it.

They both knew that under the terms of the 1917 Letters Patent issued by King George V, that Archie was not entitled to be a Prince until Charles became King. They were clearly jealous because the Queen had issued new Letters Patent prior to the birth of Prince George giving princely status to all of the children of the Prince of Wales’ eldest son Prince William. This was because of the change in the laws of succession to absolute primogeniture, meaning if Charlotte had been born first she would have been the future Queen but not a Princess until Charles became King. As William’s first born son George would have been a Prince but his siblings would have been Lady Charlotte and Lord Louis. The Queens Letters Patent gave Princely status to all of William’s children but did not make any changes to the status of the future children of the then unmarried Prince Harry. When he was born Archie was entitled to use Harry’s secondary title as a courtesy and could have been the Earl of Dumbarton but they pointedly stated that they wanted him to known as Master Archie Mountbatten-Windsor. To then imply that he was being denied the title of Prince because of what his skin tone might have been, to me came across as an attack on his grandmother the Queen. I really can’t believe that HLMTQ will be looking down on him and encouraging him to continue his ridiculous attacks on the media for events that happened years ago. It’s time he grew up, moved on and got on with living his life in private away from the Royal Family.
