You can get certain tips for your TS100 but some of the seemingly (visually) compatible parts are a lot cheaper. I want to see if I can get one of these cheap tips to work as its got a very interesting and useful looking tip!

One could get silicone hose from Amazon for 10$ for 10ft and slide it over the cartridge. It might work better than a 3d print cause of the higher heat resistance and insulation of silicone compared to 3d printed plastic. Plus silicone has a better grip in one's hand

Hmm maybe it would be interesting to mod a t12 handle so it pluggs into the TS100

On thingiverse there’s a grip you can 3D print to hold the iron further down

Your tip has oxidized (lightly). Clean it with some flux. Also, use flux lol

You present this great solidering iron so badly. It looks like isn't worth that money. But actually when you use it on 24V at 3A and with originaly tips it works so well

I used a piece of dental floss to pull that piece of metal into place while I closed the lid. Sounds like you are British, so you'll probably have to find something else. 😜

I got this solidering iron a few days ago, and I have to say it's just amazing. With original tips and 24V at 3A it's warm so quick, and work so well. This video Is bullshit
