Well, I must say, I'm quite impressed with your instructor. She's really good at explaining what you need to do to get the desired result, and it showed immediately. I'd have lessons from her in a heartbeat! Your efforts to do what she said was also impressive. Well done!

My gosh, when your explaining everything about her and what caused problems ect... you know your stuff about horses don't you 🤯 that's really good you have understanding of issues and problems. It's half the battle when you have understanding of things ❤

Can we stop blaming every negative trait on the chestnut mare thing

I don't think it's blaming it as such they are naturally more sensitive. I've ridden alot of horses over the years and chestnut mares are by far the most sensitive horses I have ridden but also the most talented

I don't like the way the instructor calls Ginny or refers to the horses as 'it'.. I've always hated that. Its he or she in my eyes.

FFS why do people get so worked up about this lol, same on the rich Hayward dressage vids. Teach 10 different horses every day and you'll stop being able to remember or care what genitals the horse has either, it's not malicious lol

It low-key bugs me, too. At least, by the end of the lesson, she was referring to Ginny as a she. 😊
