    Bus 344 (Liverpool Street to Vauxhall Bus Station): Our adventure begins at the bustling Liverpool Street Station, as we hop on Bus 344 and head down through the city. We glide past Monument Street and Cannon Street, getting a glimpse of London's historic landmarks like Monument itself. As we pass Elephant and Castle, the city's skyline comes alive, and we soon arrive at the busy Vauxhall Bus Station to switch buses.
    Bus 452 (Vauxhall to Notting Hill Gate): Now it’s time to hop on Bus 452, where we head through the modern architecture of Nine Elms and along Wandsworth Road. We pass through the elegant streets of Sloane Square, and soon find ourselves in Kensington, with its upscale shops and lush parks, before arriving at the iconic Notting Hill Gate Station-the perfect spot to end our sunny journey.

    When getting off bus 344, not only was your greeting heard, thank you, but another person also greeted, is it the custom of Londoners to greet public servants?

      Some do - most don’t. However, almost everyone is polite to the driver when boarding. I’m elderly and people stand aside to let me board comfortably. In crowded buses or trains I’m always offered a seat usually by young women (not children!). Young men also offer me their seats but they are not as observant as young women. I always accept with gratitude.
