The think that intrigues me about FX is there constant research on barrel design , the way they shaped the twist from the outside of the liner and dimple the inside giving a round shape rather than square shape rifling groves , therefore a smooth twist ! It won’t cut your pellet as much and keeps the barrel cleaner over many more shots ! They are way ahead of the game in that respect , other barrel manufacturers should take note if they are to compete ! Keep your videos coming , you look like your having fun !😁

Yeah I think its worth it, you can gain a little bit of extra elevation if you choose the 12 o'clock point of impact which will bring your scope closer to its optical centre which is a good thing

8:35 not just longer, the shape is important to. It´s a bullet ! they need more spinn and a higher velocity . And here is my question.... how fast can be a slug like these ( anyhow from 23 grain to 36 grain) shoots before they losing there stability ??? Important question .

the original ST barrel the breach end seals the air since it's perfectly round how does the twistX seat the pellet well to seal the air blast given the barrel is not round at breach end.

Little off topic... what are your thoughts on barrel indexing? Have you tried it or do you think it's not worth the effort?

Are the new (feb2021) impact x mk2 600mm .30 barrels the "superior" stx (slow) version? Do you know the twist rate? Thanks
Not 100% sure but probably around 1:30 usually that's about what they are for ballistic data purposes anyway

The rifiling in a stx starts a few mm later so the breech end is also round on a STX
