This story of yours is absolutely wonderful! I never realized the NWR was 100 years old this year. Did Wilbert and Christopher ever mention the railway's founding year in their books, like "Sodor: Reading between the Lines"? Also, how soon will your video collab be ready for the 30th anniversary of the TV series? I'm overflowing with excitement to see it!
It's been mentioned in the Rev.W.Awdry and George Awdry's book 'Sodor: Its History, People and Engines' and my 30 years video is in the editing process and will be out on October 9th, the date when the TV series started.

Actually the first tracks were laid in 1806 :) It was the line that gone frome Harrwick to Balwidin.It got ripped up in the 1830s
