When canadian parliament gave two standing ovations to an SS officer, i quit canadian whiskey. Bartender gave me dewars the other day, and i was not disappointed. Id only ever had one scotch before. It was painfully peaty... I can appreciate a smokey whiskey, but i cant drink them daily... No better option for cooking tho. A good smokey burbon makes the best sauces or glazes. But i finally found a daily drinking scotch that i enjoy. That said, i don't drink daily, but i could drink this daily if i didnt have self control.
