Your work is GREATLY appreciated! And you bring up a valid point about the new vs old/traditional ways of "investing" . . . being an older "old school" type, I'm currently at approx. 50% in "old school" ETFs, and the other spread across four of the ETFs contained in your video. I'm slowly but steadily letting go of the OS ways, and am changing the mix to be more invested in these funds. The Total Return (ROI) on these four funds since 10/4/24 is insane! And the weekly divs has been making for a great week, every week! So far, this has been a GREAT ride!
I went all in on QQQY & IWMY when it first came out, but I saw the nav erode so much as Defiance was told to help the NAV stabilize it but they came out with SPYT instead and reverse split QQQY, still kept falling, then went into weekly disty. Anyway, thank god I sold every defiance fund before the reverse split and put it into YMAX, MSTY, CONY, and QDTE. What a huge gain and game changer...I can actually take out my dividends to pay bills instead of mostly putting it all back in like Defiance. Best decision I ever made so far.
Very good episode ! Thanks for your good works ! I think Defiance may wait until a big drop in the markets to put in place some 0DTE strategies as the markets are so high and RH may take some hits when there will be some sell off, proving the 1DTE value
Appreciate you reading it out; I listen to you at the gym so it helps. YMAX is steadily gaining my confidence. These high yields are a very small part of the port but their impact is pretty big. More income is always good.
YMAX changing to weekly payouts completing changed the game. The smaller consistent payouts protect from the extreme nav erosion that happens with the monthly bulk payout.
Sorry that’s incorrect..it’s all price appreciation from the underlying stock …yieldmax is actually holding the etfs back by loosing their weekly and being capped on the nav …not good …
I listen on my phone, so I need to hear you read it. Even if I listened on a computer, I would STILL want to hear you read it as you analyze it. Some people will complain about anything!
The only thing surprising, is that the Defiance funds are far worse than I thought they would be, when it comes to total return. Especially IWMY, which is in the top 3 on dividend yield every week, but it's total yield is still more than 3 times lower than RDTE.
The only other ticker I would love to see compared is ULTY. It's a bit like YMAX in that it isn't a direct apples to apples with these other tickers, but if you're looking for high total returns, ULTY may be the only one beating YMAX since the strategy change. Have a look if you haven't recently!
@@SomeUserNameBlahBlah that's why I've pointed out that it should be tracked after the strategy change. It's total return is positive since then (and I believe more than YMAX even).

Defiance is a dumpster fire 🔥 Ymax and Ymag doing great because of the underlying stocks…Roundhill 1 billion imagine how much money you could make if you started single stock etfs …let’s go…
There is no upside to have because of the Cash Secured puts. Their underlying is cash, not an index. So, if all they hold is Cash and they sell a put, all they can make is the premium on the put. Now if the market is trending down, then they should get more premium for the Put, fingers crossed it doesn’t get assigned. Am I missing something?
RDTE got about 175 stocks and you are comparing with IWM which has 2000 stocks. Not fair comparison. IJR got 600 which is close to RDTE. Let you know. If it is too difficult to add IJR to list, You can continue same.

YMAX on buy list every week . Thanks for the updates every week.

SPYT is performing well. I had QQQT as well but sold it. Why hold the higher volatility compared to SPY and not get a higher yield?
As a mostly audio "viewer", I'm really thankful that you go like by line and highlight the changes and announce the winner like it's a boxing match.
KEEP these videos rolling 💯💯💯 to compare REALLY helps . I know I have about $3000 in Qtde and xtde which ima sell and buy back in later .
Great video as usual,1500 YMAX N YMAG 1000 RDTE QDTE is working really good

🎉🎉🎉 Much appreciated. It looks like we're buying more YMAX Next week.we'll see how ULTY does But why YMAX looks like a slam dunk!
Thank you for creating the visual , at work right now on the grave yard shift

Yieldmax is really getting better at nav retention.
Only on some, AMDY never seems to recover.

@@SomeUserNameBlahBlah oh yeah there are some dogs but I was refering to YMAX/YMAG from the weekly comparison.

i have 70% YMAX on my portfolio, keep going baby!💪💪
Im the same - roundhill for the remaining
Works well for me
Hey just wanted to say I appreciate the effort for audio only listeners.
Solid work! I appreciate the breakdown and analysis. Unique.
I was surprised @the opening cost of SOXY@ $50.0199!
Alson I didn't know that YMAX & YMAG paid 52 times a year! I think that I've been ignoring them.
Buying more YMAX

ULTY lost NAV and hasn't recovered. The only saving grace is ULTY may not go any lower and can only go up. I may buy more after the next ex-div date.

Love the videos keep it up
so at this time it looks like YMAG is better investment than QDTE, XDTE, RDTE combo?
Thank you ROD. We appreciate your commitment to daily/weekly reports and insight.
Everyone loves the defiance funds at the beginning. I wouldn’t be surprised if their big 3 get shut down.
Thanks, ROD !

What do you think about my holdings?
Fepi Aipi, Xdte Rdte Qdte, Ymax Maxi
I also have Jepq Jepi and Schd
You pretty much have nearly the exact same income strategy. Overlapping each other in underlyings. I hope your not going for diversity.
@ like the same indexes?

I will never touch anything from Defiance, guaranteed NAV erosion. After paying income tax on dividends, you cannot recover from Defiance.
@@SomeUserNameBlahBlahhope ur not talking about SPYT. It’s done great so far.

Correct for Defiance yes
@Retireondividends Sorry I wasn’t specific! Thanks for the clarification!
I'd think Defiance has to respond to their declining funds.... they'll end up copying Roundhill. IMO I'll be switching over after watching these...
We need an update on SPYT

RDTE trades options on RUT(Russel Index) so that’s what I compare it to

YMAX surprised me
Did you forget to cover SPYT,QQQT, and USOY? I was looking forward to those
Yes sorry
