Sir, if i were to add the answer to your question, it’s definitely worth it and i would recommend to appear for exams based on your comfort level, in which you have to give your best. The answer to the articleship query can be found on quora but as far as i know if u have good communication skills and you present yourself well you definitely have a chance. I’ve read on quora that people with multiple attempts have also been roped into these big firms. Hope this helps!

However for CA, if one changes their country it is advisable to take on additional exams to become familiar with the accounting rules of that particular country. Prateek Singh the ACCA has three level of exams too but 14 papers. The CA course has 20 exams. Statistically, one completes the ACCA degree faster. But we can’t say one is better than the other. The skills you gain from each are similar. ACCA is globally recognised but more in the UK and other European countries.

It is always going to be a bit of luck. Sometimes even with the best contacts, we don’t get a call back. But sometimes even without any contacts we do. Just make sure your CV stands out and makes them call you. Keep following up and also apply to more than just one firm. Don’t give up if you don’t hear back from one firm. Keep on going!
