- Plumbing rough in before pouring concrete slab garage shop build diy. I got the mono slab foundation footers mostly formed up now I need to dig in the plumbing under concrete slab before the gravel gets packed in.
I did 1/4” per ft slope on mine. Make sure to check local building codes to see if you can do your own and what the requirements are etc. This is just to give you an example of what worked for me.
amzn.to/3ddiXPc here is the Topcon laser transit level that I use for all this dirt prep. Super accurate and easy to use. I love mine. If you have to rent it a number of times anyways I think it’s worth just buying one.
amzn.to/3HbLi3r here you can check out similar plate compactors.
amzn.to/3JcqcEW here is the 3”x4” closet elbow for septic line if interested.
This is a new series on my diy 32 x 56 garage - shop build. I want to show you how to start building a garage or shop from the very start of just having a empty lot. Watch for future videos on this build.

Good video. Thanks!
Thank you!
how much would you say the whole thing cost you (building the whole garage)
what if garage is complete and slab is in place. Do you just need to dig some of it up and follow from there?
To get your plumbing in?
Did u video the house plumbing
Yes I did some. Not as thorough back then.
How do u measure interior walls do u add or take from that measurement exterior walls u do 15 an a quarter back what is the measurement for interior wall line
Not quite sure I’m following your question. I drew it a lot on large graph paper, one square, representing 1 foot that way I knew pretty much exactly where to stub out for my interior wall. Usually you can move your interior walls a little bit if you have to.
pipe put underneath cement slap what happen when crack?
It’s made to be put underground. If it’s bedded properly it shouldn’t be a problem
