Burrow showed that he had his "masters" in college quarterbacking, while Clemson's qb, still only a sophomore, is very talented, but showed that he only had an "associate's degree" in college quarterbacking. The age and experience difference that Burrow had over all the other qb's and defenses he played this year was dramatic.

Mike Brown is 84 years old. While he's still officially the Bengals GM he's been delegating more responsibility as he gets older. If Burrow has what it takes to succeed in the NFL, he can succeed anywhere in the NFL. Every NFL team has the same salary cap from which to pay players drawn from the same talent pool. Any coach on the NFL level can win with the right quarterback. The Bengals went 12-4 as recently as 2015, with Andy Dalton at quarterback. Joe Burrow only has to be better than Andy Dalton to have a decent career.

@@TSemasFl Hey guy didn't mean any disrespect. You disrespected Cincy initially. The only thing you are correct about is the cold and someone could say Miami gets to hot. I lived in Cincy for about 10 years and really enjoyed my time there. I only spent a couple months in Miami. I am not originally from there born in Chicago live in Tennessee now. I would take Franklin Tennessee over both places. Bears fan by the way.

I really hope Joe doesn't get drafted by the Bengals. Nobody should have to suffer a franchise like that who doesn't want to win and compete. He deserves better than that, any player that gets drafted by them deserves better. One if the worst owners this league has seen. Their uniforms are hideous. No indoor practice facility, which is just asinine for an NFL team, given the where their located. The owner is cheap and has absolutely no idea how to establish a foundation for a winning formula. Can't even get good football minds in there to help. Mainly because he's to cheap and too clueless to do so. They waste talent that the do have. Carson Palmer, AJ Green, Andy Dalton, Chad Ochocinco, Corey Dillon and many more. They keep drafting these QBs with no idea how to get guys in their to protect them or get complimentary pieces for the QB and AJ. The owner uses AJ Green as a way to line his pocket. And I don't know this for sure but it's safe to assume he thinks he isn't the problem, that it's everyone else. He's sued the city multiple times for money, one case was due to the fact they were late on a concessions payment. Threatened to move the team multiple times. Forced the city to buy him a stadium and have complete control over it for strictly monetary gains, not because he wants to win football games. He's paid himself a GM bonus since 1991, clearly not earning a penny of it. He refuses to change and do what's best for the team to put them in a winning situation. He hired Dave Shula over Bill Cowher because and I quote " I see more of myself in him". It's not about what you see in yourself, the main focus should be can this coach win football game. His one and only focus is how much money he can make with no regard for these players careers, as long as they make him money. If players or coaches question him or his willingness to win football games, it's not long after those people are gone. Football players at that level have one goal, to win and have a good enjoyable career. Not to make some middle aged bald guy more money. So with all that being said, I wouldn't blame a damn soul for not wanting to wear a Bengals uniform..

Seth Schibler Absolutely, he had one great year. How does that make him a consistent perennial quarterback? I think I would be more likely to let somebody else take the chance on him. Again when does one year makes a phenom?

Don’t eat Yellow snow I agree with your overall thought. But Barry Sanders was a one year college phenom.

Michael Oldham , True Sanders had one phenomenal year, but he also had a decent junior year. But I see where you’re coming from. If that’s the case then let’s just hope he doesn’t go to a team that won’t give him a lime or receivers and expect him to get it all done. Best of luck to him, I just have seen a lot of one year wonders.

cajenner10 ok, one year. We will see, But I think I would maybe look at a second or third round quarterback that had consistent three-year running statistics. Take a look at where the Patriots found Brady, Or Atlanta found Favre. I think Terrell Davis was in the sixth round.
