9:30 When it comes too catching moves its actually common for experienced battlers to wait 1 or 2 fast moves more after they reach their charge move before they attempt to catch on another pokemon considering both players know eachothers counts & expect a sack. Sometimes a match can be won or loss due too catching a charge move so the higher the elo you reach the more cautious you need too be with your energy. A lot of times when im in a dominanting matchup ill farm a little extra or ill throw at 8 or 9 mudshots (just using mudshot as an example) too try to throw off my opponet. Or ill throw one or two turns before they get too their charge move. Its 50% skill and 50٪ understanding the situation. If your up against an incinerate, confusion or waterfall user its always best too hit your charge move in the middle of your opponets animation so they aren't able too switch out to catch that charge move on another pokemon. Im sure some people know this already but this is for those that don't! P.S regardless of how good you are at catching moves we all been in a position where we make a killer sack and we all been in that position where we get got! It is what it is!
I love these, but on a serious note... I watch you play against a number of trainers and I listen to what all of you are saying... I now find that if I talk to myself like that when I'm battling in GBL, I do a LOT better. It helps with my decision making under pressure. So, THANKS!
Dan is so cracked. I know the guy does this for a living, but it doesn't make it less impressive how he knows every outcome and is able to predict what the opponent is going to do. Great vid.
Do a series oriented towards main line games as well. As in go to another website where you 'show' your 6 pokemon to each other and then select 3 to build a team. Basically you need to think what they are bringing and what you counter it with
You should have used rockslide in the starting as both ground and rock are super effective against fire. So it would had not mattered even if switched to flying type. Also you should had farmed down the rayquaza and you should had switched into garchomp instead of mewtwo after exadrill faints.
Gyarados need dragon breath. Zekrom swap with magnezone because its coverage to fairy. Gyrados cover fighter. Gyarados and magnezone is a classic core... Mewtwo i dont have any idea why only bring icebeam 😹
Wrong. Waterfall win 0-0 againts charm which is dragon breath not.. Dragon breath win 0-0 againts dragon which is waterfall not. Different move, different matchup
