Oh..one more idea too...the dollar tree also sells those scented wet bubble beads( can’t recall their “exact” name) ....and those little mini lights work wonderfully with them. First you would center your small light in the dish, and then pour the wet scented beads into ur dish, covering your light...at night it will glow the color of the wet beads you choose. Sorry...I just wanted to add that little idea. 😊
I don't know how on earth you thought of this I walk through the Dollar Tree and see things and I have no idea that there can turn into something so beautiful and clever excellent creativity I'm going to make one
I saw this for the first time tonight. I could not imagine what you were going to do with those pieces. I was interrupted multiple times during the video so a lot of pause and re-watch but well worth it. That is so cute. I will be making them as soon as I make my usual run to the Dollar Tree.
When shopping...pick up a couple of turntables...one for spray paint and one for on the table when you are crafting...if you get one you will wonder how you got by without them!
I think I could also see a string of the little LED fairy lights in there - and maybe tint the glass for whatever your next holiday might be . . . This is a great project
This is one of the loveliest things I've seen. Wish we had a dollar store in the UK! Our pound shops are nowhere near as good! Another crafter told me that if you.put your glue sticks in the freezer, you don't get the spider webs!
Luan Cherry Hi Luan I just came across this channel whilst browsing. A lot of the things used in this craft could be found at car boot sales and charity shops, especially with the Summer coming the items could be collected early. Plus Christmas items are really cheap in the Summer boot sales too. I agree our Pound shops don’t have as much or as nice merchandise. Keep on crafting. 😊
i would use velcro to hold that strap and the light with the timer on it is even better, no need to touch the shade, thanks for the great idea...sooo cute
i was thinking that too...just a little black velcro dot so you dont have to reglue it each time. Or start the ribbon under the bottom one and attach to the top under the "lid" that can lift off so you dont see the velcro at all. I love timer tea lights. ....funny story ..we used like 40 of them for an event and others helped clean up and didnt shut them off all the way..... so i had tons of boxes of items in my living room...took me a while to figure out where the glowing at night was coming from .....LOL
Adorable! The only changes I'd make is to get some black elastic from Walmart and glue that underneath the bottom and top then it's easy to change the bulb anytime. Also, glass on glass doesn't hold well with just hot glue so add E-6000 and a few spots of hot glue just for the quick hold.
Awesome! Congratulations on building something that you absolutely love out of random things that have a completely unrelated use. That is my absolutely favorite kind of project that makes me happiest of all! Yay!
Instead of the ribbon, maybe use the glue to make an elevated lip inside the edge of the bottom bowl so the top bowl will sit on the top without sliding off yet be removable. This looks awesome! Very clever!
What a great idea! Also love it for a friend’s wedding reception dinner at an outdoor venue in springtime. Certainly more than affordable for multiple tables. Thank you many times over.
This is such a cute idea. One of the things I usually like about the comment section, after seeing your ideas your viewers add some of their ideas and I hope you realize how much you have inspired so many others to "create" something. Your basic ideas cause so many of us to think. Thank you so much.
This is GORGEOUS!! I am always soexcited at the Dollar Store! I would have to go the E6000- OHIO with 17 degrees and colder--hot glue just pops right off. But that is so beautiful!! I'm already having thoughts running through my head of additions to your beautiful lantern, to make it year round. LOVE IT!!! Thankyou.
I have goblets that I was going to sell in a garage sale but now I'm re-thinking them. Maybe I'll make these lanterns instead. What an adorable, awesome project!!
This is so cute! And it wouldn't be hard to change it up a little either. A candlestick might work as the pole.... or keep the goblet and put plastic crystals in it instead of painting it. So many options!
Your creative ability blows my mind! I luv watching to learn, but I just wish I had a little slice of your imagination, you rock beautiful, have a great day!
I have just recently started watching DIY projects on TH-cam and I have to tell you that I love the way this turned out. I will definitely be doing this one! Thank you!
This is really cute. im thinking you could do this using one of the spherical candle holders/jars, instead of the candy bowls. And just set the lid on top, i think thatd work well too.
It is SO CUTE, Jean!! It is SOO ADORABLE!!! I think that I will be trying to make this one! I will let You know how it turns out and send You a photo. Again, You did SOO AWESOME AND THANK YOU FOR SHARING THIS WITH US.
Oh my! I love it Jean aka BatS! It looked like a bell before you added the top part! INGENIOUS!! My trips to Poundland and the like will NEVER be the same again! Tfs ~ C ~ gb-uk
SUPER CUUUTE😀👍❣️ I can see this done in different colors depending on one’s decor as well as making a higher base for a taller light‼️ Thanks for the inspiration❣️

2 of these with a candle ring of greenery would look so great on a hall table, console or even as a dining table centerpiece! Thanks for the great idea!! New subscriber.
Oh my gosh this is the cutest thing ever everybody's getting one for Christmas this year thanks for sharing 👍👍 Merry Christmas to Everyone Watching ✌️❤️😁
That is so cute, I love it. I saw someone suggest a remote control tea light, and that is an awesome idea to go with it. I did happen to notice the paint dripping in small blobs, and wanted to remind everyone to keep the tip of their finger on the nozzle, rather than in front of the nozzle. When your finger is in front, it gathers the paint until it drips off. If you finger is not in the way, the paint goes on quite smoothly. I am thinking of using some spray on glass paint, so it looks like sea glass. You could fill them part way with colored beads to kind of hide the base of the candle, and set them around your next bath soak.
I would recommend when you are wanting to spray paint glass get you some frosted glass spray paint(found at possibly walmart, lowes, home depot, local hardware store like ACE), it gives the glass texture so color paint you use has something to grab onto with one/two coats of paint without over layering paint. I learned the hard way, but I made these super cute teal victorian Jewlery stands using yard sale textures giblets and smooth glass salad bowels. Also make these awesome candle holders using old glass candle sticks and the odd shaped glass bulb covers for the ceiling fan. If you would like i can send picture. :)
Holy Guacamole! So completely in love with this DIY! Even though, this is only the very 1st Video I have ever watched of yours, I will say, I plan on watching all of your videos! And the reason being is because, not only was this DIY so incredibly simple to do, but you ended up with a Gorgeous, Practical, and most of all, Functional Piece, that can be done in a Variety of ways! Additionally, 98% of the DIYs I watch on here, are so incredibly complicated, require so many different Items, and also require so much of your time, just to watch the video! And by the end, you realize 35 mins of your time and energy was spent learning how to make something like, a Decorative Tissue Box! Haha! But again, on a more serious note, I absolutely loved this DIY, and would like to say, that not only am I one of your Newest Subscribers, but I am also a Huge Fan! And I cannot wait to see what DIYs you create on your other videos! Excellent Work Alll Around! Happy Holidays from Your New Fan and Subscriber, Brandi
@@BeautyandtheStamper Haha! Thar made me literally LOL really hard! But funny enough, I remember after watching that DIY Video for the Decorative Tissue Box, I just thought to myself, "Well that's 28 minutes of my life I'm never getting back!" Haha! But again, I'm so excited to see what DIY you post next! And I appreciate the quick reply!
*E6000 is a must for this DIY!!* Since it's glass, it's heavy. Always use E6000 when dealing with glass, or heavy items, OR gifts you don't want to break. Absolutely adorable! !
I use Fabric-tac dries clear and bonds good for glass on glass or fabric with glass. Just a tiny amount of hot glue to start the bond. Also chalk paint has a dry residue-it is not good to use hot glue because of the chalk-it wont last. Fabric-tac would work great with chalk paint. But that is what I have found along the years. Everyone does it the way they prefer. Nice to meet you! Miss Jones
Sarah H You can make your own wreath for it using discarded faux nettles or the 2" "tip" stemming off main branches in faux Christmas trees or garland. Many people buy larger/beautiful new faux trees on the spot feeling their old one needs replacing, so after Christmas you can see older trees out for garbage. One tree branch has probably over 50 "tip" so that's a lot of tiny wreaths you could make.
Terri Juanette I’m lovin it I only did one but lovin it so much I’m getting more stuff tomorrow :) how do I send you a private photo? I have to glue still but want to film which is on my sch for tomorrow morning to film 😄
Cute lamp! Thanks for sharing! Thinking little velcro dots on ribbon and base would make easier to turn light on and off. Maybe not strong enough to hold it but just an idea
I watched this video of yours before and I have to tell you I made two lamps, but I bought a small hinge to glue inside the lamp part, so you could open it to turn the lighted candle inside. I cut the black ribbon are the opening on each side. It is the cutest thing ever and I thank you so much for the inspiration. I am now in the process of making 16 more for belated family members Christmas gift from me. I also made the snowman made from Dollar Trees mini fish bowls, snowman that ornament and tied a festive ribbon for scarf that I seen an a different demonstrator vice to add as a set .
Not on TH-cam, you could post to The Beauty and the Stamper Facebook page or on Instagram and tag me or #beautyandthestamper or you can email it to me jeanpiersanti@gmail.com. I can’t wait 😊
Jean,, today is 1/20/2018 and I have made 16 of your adorable lamps for family members. They're of course are belated Christmas gifts that I also made a snowman (who designs I got from another youtube designer named Mariam) and it made the perfect setting. Everyone I've made them for absolutely loves them. I had my husband spray paint my goblets and lids, which he had the same issue with the paint. So what I did was glue some of the fake snow to the areas where the paint didn't turn out. I also added a poinsettia at the top of the goblet stem. On the two jelly dishes I bought some mini hinges and glued them inside one dish first (using E6000) and once it was dried I glued the other side of the hinge and placed the bowl on top. This way I was able to cut the ribbon so you could open the lamp to place LD light inside so you could turn it on and off. I sent a picture of it to your e-mail a while ago, so let me know if you need me to send it again. Thanks so much for the inspiration!!!!
Yowza! Terrific you creative genius you! But I want to see your lamp with lites out! I dream of adding red ribbon bows red berry holly sprigs and cinnamon sticks around the neck. While I was watching I got nervous about lamp being knocked over or bumped or the top bowl falling off, so perhaps some clear tape applied to the back wd help to stabilize it more. And just imagine how LOVELY your lamp wd look for Halloween! Just cut and layer some black tulle netting, a few red silk roses and 3 or 4 skulls around the base, and kapoweeee, awesome spooky centerpiece. I'm so proud of you and your spectacular "LAMP FOR ALL SEASONS". THANK YOU
For the paint to stick better, always wash glass well with dish detergent and then wipe with rubbing alcohol to get all oils off the glass. Works wonders to get the paint to stick better.
Very cute! I have a suggestion, seeing as how the light very easily slides off-center if you move the lamp... find a tiny lid that the light fits into and glue it to the inside bottom of the globe so you can set the light in it , the rim of the lid will keep it in place. Thanks for making this video!
That is so cute and old timey lookin. I love it so much and my wheels are turning in my head so quickly, you can keep it or make a set and decorated as if you were riding through an old town for Christmas you could put Garland on it or a little wreath or red ribbon, for Mardi Gras you could put Mardi Gras masks for Halloween you can put little orange and purple lights!!!!! I mean you could do so much with that you are such a creative woman that is so awesome thank you for your videos and thank you for making them with things that normal people can afford LOL you're awesome!
This is so cute. FYI if you have the little stingy things from the hot glue gun, take out your blow dryer or heat tool and turn it on your project or your table for just a second and they magically disappear
I actually am totally excited about the little light inside the mostest!!!! I have never seen those! Didn’t think I’d like this project, but it is “super-cut!”
Oh..one more idea too...the dollar tree also sells those scented wet bubble beads( can’t recall their “exact” name) ....and those little mini lights work wonderfully with them. I've made tiered cupcake plates by hot gluing the clear plates and clear candlestick holders together. $5 total and really cute.
Absolute Gorgeousness...add a mini wreath with a red bow to the middle. Thank you so very much for sharing your creations with us!
It is adorable. I can see it in white as wedding shower decorations.
Ooh yes, that would be so pretty!
This is beautiful! I'm thinking for Christmas I could add maybe a red ribbon on top of small mistletoe or holley

So cute. This could be painted any color for each holiday.
So true, one of the Beauties shared his pink and floral version on our Facebook page.
Try yo find a solar light for the inside. Then it turns itself on at night, and recharges all day.
the black paint would keep the solar light from charging is that not true you could if you left i all clear..
Instead of the ribbon, maybe use the glue to make an elevated lip inside the edge of the bottom bowl so the top bowl will sit on the top without sliding off yet be removable.

I also made the snowman made from Dollar Trees mini fish bowls, snowman that ornament and tied a festive ribbon for scarf that I seen an a different demonstrator vice to add as a set .
That is awesome! Would love to see your projects!!!

I didn’t get the email 😞 Can you post it to the Beauty and the Stamper Facebook page? I’d love to see your designs!!! 💕
THANK YOU
Lights out meaning the ROOM LIGHTS
It’s still up and holding strong a year later 😊
For the paint to stick better, always wash glass well with dish detergent and then wipe with rubbing alcohol to get all oils off the glass. Works wonders to get the paint to stick better.
Thank you for the great tip 👍 TFW 💕
That's the cutest thing I've ever seen! HAH! Youre genius.
Thank you 😊
Jean that lamp is just so cute. Take care and happy crafting
Cleaning glass with alcohol helps paint to stick
Great idea, Theresa. Thanks!
@@conishkee You're welcome ❤
Very cute! I have a suggestion, seeing as how the light very easily slides off-center if you move the lamp... find a tiny lid that the light fits into and glue it to the inside bottom of the globe so you can set the light in it , the rim of the lid will keep it in place. Thanks for making this video!
Great idea, thank you!
Nice idea. I can't believe you live in Arizona, your skin is so nice.
+Linda Smith Awe, thank you 😊
Lived in Az for over 70 years, curious as to what you mean, did you expect tan, redness, what?
Love It!!! Looking Forward to doing Valentine crafts with you!!
In the 1800's they were called gas lights. It would look good with some carolers standing under it. Great project.
Just made my list for 18” doll outside lamp sitting under the stars.
Such an awesome project. Love the chalkboard paint. This gives me ideas for other projects I will share them when I make them. Thanks for sharing it.
Yay! Can’t wait to see them!!!
Very well nice :D luvd how u put it together. Tfs
I made one and I put Velcro on the glass and it works great. Can't even see that it's there.... Great craft...
