I suspect this will be like a chronological story for the album? All related but can stand on their own? If so this will be the 1st time in a while that an artist does this, like Daft Punk's Interstellar 55555 Animated Music Album. But this brings it up several levels because it is real life, not animation. If such this is such a dream and brings back the relevancy and value of an album that has sadly been lost. Whatever the case thank you for directing and putting in the best quality of work as always. 🙏🏻✨
The real question is...are they any good at it? Or is it bad karaoke? I'd rather someone blast a song with amazing vocal skill or serious emotional investment (both is the dessert you never dreamed could exist) than listen to the movie, most of the time, TBH.

Frankly speaking, the moment I listened to this song for the first time, the lyrics evoked loss & death more than anything else. I felt like the song is way beyond departure, breaking up and so on. It`s like a lament for the dead and as a result, it rang a bell and reminded me of the day my father passed away by the end of 2019. To me, Undo, is this kind of song that burst me more than once into tears while recalling only one goodbye and loss ... Can`t wait to watch the M.V ...!!
after watching & re-watching this video. i think the theme is that Yohio was living his life with his partner & was trying to live in more than one world. but upon turning round found that his partner was shifted to another of these worlds & he is stuck trying desperately find them but cant as the guy (kinda like a time lord) is keeping the worlds all separate & theres no crossing over between them. so yohio is living in vain that somehow he can cross through the different worlds but by the end of the video he realises he cant & has to accept his fate :/ true to life.... we all would love to have it all but life isnt this way & can be very cruel :/ we often have to make harsh choices & they arent always the right ones but time does tell in the end. all we can do is try not to live with regrets.
finally, someone caught on to this. Yes, the key thread I am noticing self-blame, self-punishment by guilt and remorse by not allowing the self to let go, again punishing the self in the guilt/shame/blame etc.

Tbh I'm quite picky about music. But this is one song that I fell in love at the first listen. The melody is outstanding, the voice (of course we all know how incredible Yohio sounds), the passion and effort both the father and son put in it and the album (it melts my heart and is so beautiful. Of course I don't know them well, so every rose has its thorn), the lyrics which is so real and relatable. It brings me to tears, but I still listen to it and sing along on repeat. I can feel the pain of not wanting to part with the past memories and happiness, but sometimes you have to let go. To me, it is a combination of a sad love song, a family tragedy and an attempt to find yourself.

I have watched this video like, 5 times. Aside from “you’ll believe it if you sing it” and “the show has just begun so let them laugh”. I really love this song. You can hear he wants to be vulnerable but is unsure of if he can trust her with it. Once you let go and give someone your heart you can never undo that. If they break it it’s broken because of them and you blame yourself for letting yourself give away your heart to begin with.

Tbh I'm quite picky about music. But this is one song that I fell in love at the first listen. The melody is outstanding, the voice (of course we all know how incredible Yohio sounds), the passion and effort both the father and son put in it and the album (it melts my heart and is so beautiful. Of course I don't know them well, so every rose has its thorn), the lyrics which is so real and relatable. It brings me to tears, but I still listen to it and sing along on repeat. I can feel the pain of not wanting to part with the past memories and happiness, but sometimes you have to let go. To me, it is a combination of a sad love song, a family tragedy and an attempt to find yourself.

I have watched this video like, 5 times. Aside from “you’ll believe it if you sing it” and “the show has just begun so let them laugh”. I really love this song. You can hear he wants to be vulnerable but is unsure of if he can trust her with it. Once you let go and give someone your heart you can never undo that. If they break it it’s broken because of them and you blame yourself for letting yourself give away your heart to begin with.
