Iger has destroyed Disney, Marvel, Star Wars and Pixar. He overpaid for 20th Century Fox (which put the company deeply in debt) Iger has also neglected the upkeep and maintenance of company cash cow Walt Disney World. The Orlando Disney parks are not prepared to compete with the opening of Universal Studios Epic Universe next year.
While the last few Star Wars films have been weaker, it would be totally irrelevant today if not for the purchase by Disney, regulated to animated tv series and expanded universe novels. Plus, The Mandalorian Season 2 and Andor are the best Star Wars since the Original Trilogies. Pixar and Marvel hit their peaks under Disney. Let's not forget the masterpieces like Up, Coco, Inside Out, etc. On the Marvel side, the Captain America films, Black Panther, and no one will ever forget their experience in theatres with Avenger's Endgame. "On your left", indeed. I haven't kept up as much on the parks so I won't speak to that. Though Disney does have 4 parks already vs Universal catching up with it's 4th in Epic Universe. But hopefully there will be some updates at D23 this year for the parks.

Out side of your feelings on the Fox purchase... i think you're mistaking Iger for Chapek. Iger has been working for about a year on cleaning up the mess Chapek had made. He's more or less a solid 6 months in to making progress on his own plans. Films and Theme Parks take several years to develop and put out product to the public. We wont truly feel Iger's reemergence for a minimum of another 6 months. Give the man time to cook.
Peltz lost every ounce of credibility he may have had when he questioned Kevin Fieige's intelligence and talent. Regardless of your thoughts on the MCU right now, you can't question what a legend that man is to the entertainment space. Questioning his "Record" is insanity.
