Hello Great Video, quick question please, I have E1S1 Ruan Mei, Should I go E2 Ruan Mei or E0S0 Firefly with S5 Fall of an Aeon? My main teams are DOT and Acheron. I almost have the Full IPC team except Topaz and Robin, so can’t play FUA.
defo more of these types of videos, it validated a lot of assumptions I had for my pull priority, very informative and helpful especially for people who haven't obsessed about how to build their firefly for a week straight

agree, the final results for each point only appears very briefly. Condensing them all together at the very end, and leaving it onscreen for an extensive period of time would be a lot more digestible. And easily findable by scrolling the timebar
Most people would appreciate a side-by-side infographic comparison summary at the end rather than personally pulling out pen and paper to note at every single segment. It's of course going to be extra work for better content. @@TerraTheWise
I have a question guys I can't beat the Moc 5 even with my first team : Jingliu, Bronya, tingyun, lynx (most of them are well build or at least okay, jingliu with 200% crdmg) anf my second team is Acheron, pela, welt and fire mc (I cznt clear easily it's just my first team) should i try to upgrade my jingliu team and save for sparkle or jiaoqiu or pull firefly?

6:55 if only 1% difference with E1 vs S1, then shouldn't E1 be better? Coz SP saving can make her potentially be used in PF alongside himeko without SP issues, also enable her in dual dps break team in the future perhaps. While S1 mainly just DMG.
definitely the best firefly teams showcase video ive seen as I don't have ruan mei as of yet and don't plan on getting her lightcone, so showcasing the 3 star light cone on her and still seeing a massive difference is reassuring
Coming back to this old video now and comparing to what we have available on her rerun, Firefly will still be quite viable (despite no 2nd rerun of Ruan Mei as of posting) with Fugue for Super Break Teams. The point about E2 Firefly with Aeon LC being better than E1 S1 still holds true, especially with the support Fugue can bring with Exo-toughness. If Fugue is at E2 as well, she could arguably replace Ruan Mei if she’s played alongside Harmony MC with the right setup. Thanks for the gameplay testing!

Excellent video. I pulled an single E0 Firefly so I could bring Ruan Mei from E0 up to E2 since she will benefit all team comps, not just one character. I was on the fence if I should upgrade Firefly to E1, but your video helped me decide to wait until Yunli comes out to cover physical class. I also have all of the feature 4-stars (Gallagher, Misha & Xueyi) at E6 so there isn't much incentive to keep pulling. Using a fully built Firefly as the auto-level character in divergent universe with E2 Ruan Mei is just insane. INSANE!!!
this type of content is perfect, it's easy to say "oh, this lightcone/this eidolon is an x% increase" but seeing it in a more practical "but does it really matter?" sense with the comparisons in clear score is exactly the perspective people need
Lucky!! I used 320 pulls so far and only got E1S1. When I pulled Acheron I got her E2S1 in under 100 pulls so I'd imagine I used my luck for the year.🤷
I got very similar results, maybe 10 or 20 more pulls. She is nuts tho, near effortless 0 cycle on both sides of MoC, 3700-3800+ pts in AS, and I even got 37k points in a Pure Fiction run on her team using DDD Asta. The E2 secret sauce is for sure on the level of Acheron and DHIL in how much it elevates her kit. She's like Destruction Break Seele, only downside is the cooldown on the passive but she gets so many turns...

I was considering getting E1 because all the content creators were saying it's so OP etc but if it makes no significant difference it's a waste of pulls. Love the direct and clear recommendations (E.g. Only pull E1 if you're committed to e2) and the cost break down of spending money statistically. Please keep this format up for all new charcs!

FF is crazy, mine with level 5 traces, No Planar set and the new set with only 5% Break Effect was hitting 150k on three targets. My fully built Jingliu hits for that. That's crazy to me
Honestly helped me decide. I lost my second 50\50 so now I'm guaranteed Jade but was thinking of pushing to E1. Acheron is the only character I have every got eidolons for but Firefly has met my expectations at E0. If anything, I will grab her lightcone because she deserves it.

E1 could get more valuable down the line if we getting a skill point hungry character that fits her team line up. Also E1 rly shines for simulated universe if you get blessings that advance you. Had a case in corondum difficulty where I actually had 23+ turn back to back with firefly, I wouldn’t been able to skill all the time without E1. only thing I was surprised about was how the opponents even been able to tank all the dmg I ditched out during the turns lol.
I went for E1 Firefly so that she can synergies better with Boothil and they don't have to fight eachother for skill points. They are soo fun to run together.
@@romander8088 not really, her best team (Ruan Mei, Harmony TB, Gallagher) don't use a ton of skill points, you might have a slight hiccup if u need to emergency heal, but ye she doesn't "need" E1 and E2, tho E1 does guarantee comfy gameplay skill point wise anyway.

I have firefly at e2s1 and I find it hilarious that autobattle as stupid as it is can't mess up with her at e2 since even if it targets the minions she just gets an extra turn the skill points can't be messed up because she doesn't use any and the only downside to autobattle with this team I guess is that it uses harmony mcs ult immediately instead of waiting for it to be at 1 turn remaining at least but harmony mcs energy regen is so incredible (with s5 motp) that it doesn't even matter
@@RaidenDisNots easily it's basically DHILs e2 on steroids because he doesn't get it every turn since he needs to charge his ult unless with some cracked speed tuning tingyun and some other factors he can 1 turn ult but I doubt that but she gets an extra turn literally every turn
Personally I still pulled for E1S0 over E0S1. Just knowing that I have the freedom to spam my teammates skills more often without running low on SP is nice. More SP to spam HMC skills and Gallagher skills mean faster rotations for them and security in knowing I’ll have the SP to heal if I need to.

im running a sam rm hmc bronya comp and it generally works way better than the same comp with gallagher i am at e2 and bronya is slower than sam by a bit but so far its been running extremely well
I had 23,000 jades and already decided to spend it all because the banners were so stacked. Got very lucky and now I feel what whales feel like when playing HSR. Pretty absurd tbh
I'm so considering to keep pulling. Gallagher was my top prio but I use all 3 of the 4*s and now have both Xueyi and Misha at E6 but Gallagher is still E4. Its probably better to just be patient considering E5/E6 don't significantly change his playstyle or make him more comfortable and the other two 4*s are now effectively terrible for me
@@faceless1434 The other two 4*s are pretty much the best thing you can get. A full refund is very valuable. Eidolons for units like Hanya, Yukong etc. are all nearly useless because they see no play. But full refund pulls instead of 40% stack up over the course of the years. Wishing on those banners give you an additional 5 star each year for free, just because you pulled smartly on the banners that you already have E6 units.
@@deliro8758 I see the reasoning but the risk of getting RM E1 goes against that idea: gaining ~1 pull but losing ~20 for a 5* Eidolon (in the event of an early 5*). RM E1 is very good and early it would be worth the price but I value new characters far far more than a power increase. Its only if the odds are super favourable
farming has never been this fast with a friend that has an E1 firefly. the fact that ult timer resets per wave gives her perma ult and just destroys it in 2 skills
My firefly is on broken set (with 2pc watchmaker) for now, while I farm glamoth set for her. I saved up a little of “claim planar ornaments one time” thingies (I forgor how they are called 💀), so I have passable ornaments now. With all talents unlocked my Firefly has 173 spd before battle… 243 after ult with Ruan Mei. I love how I can go 3 times per cycle with my dps. Naturally, getting even 160 spd with full set might take ages (yep, my Ruan Mei still ain’t at 161 even after 3 months of watchmaker farming), but I’m staying hopefull.
@@RaidenDisNotsNew relics should be selectable from the menu, they are in Penacony Grand Theater. New planars are in Divergent Universe, beat the tutorial, then a regular run, then do 'extract planar ornaments' from the menu using your new created save.
accidentally pulled firefly while going for ruan mei...so mad about it but i dont have topaz so having a fire dps is pretty helpful i guess? (i also full invested in HMC the second she came out bc i think super break is so cool so theres that as well ig)
One thing though, Firefly E1 makes her not use sp, which means harmony mc can skill every turn, contributing to more team damage. So I wouldn't say E1 is worse than S1.
How about E1 RM e0s0 FF for the high investment (mainly for previous E0 RM user)? Because E1/S1 may give more damage for future content, but E1 gives it too, and E1 is more versatile in case RM in other comp.
well i have to say something what you are telling is only based on dmg but her kit is not onky dmg i feel like its a pretty bad comparison nice attempt but people should consider all factors like you did not mention HMC dealing dmg by skill more by E1S0 firefly

i managed to get E2s1 SAM with about 230 pulls. She's do going crazy in the new MOC.

I was able to get 3 fireflies, ruan mei, and ruan mei’s lightcone all in around 210 pulls and it is so insane

It’s funny, because S5 Fall of an Aeon at max stacks should give you more Break Effect than her sig at S1. And IDK why I find it funny, but it is!

accidentally pulled firefly while going for ruan mei...so mad about it but i dont have topaz so having a fire dps is pretty helpful i guess? (i also full invested in HMC the second she came out bc i think super break is so cool so theres that as well ig)
One thing though, Firefly E1 makes her not use sp, which means harmony mc can skill every turn, contributing to more team damage. So I wouldn't say E1 is worse than S1.
More CC should make this kind of stuff - varying investment levels

Honestly the 1 turn downtime on the E2 does not really matter much, at least for MoC 12. It's insane going 4 turns back to back in a row.
How about E1 RM e0s0 FF for the high investment (mainly for previous E0 RM user)? Because E1/S1 may give more damage for future content, but E1 gives it too, and E1 is more versatile in case RM in other comp.
If you haven't done it yet, would you consider doing a Boothill version? I'm uncertain if I want ruan mei, but I want him to do his best

well i have to say something what you are telling is only based on dmg but her kit is not onky dmg i feel like its a pretty bad comparison nice attempt but people should consider all factors like you did not mention HMC dealing dmg by skill more by E1S0 firefly
i have e1s1 firefly rn and no ruan mei, is it better go for ruan mei or e2 firefly?
id say ruan mei, you can always save in the future for firefly or if you get somehow lucky may get her before the banner ends
