Karen please don't change anything, we all love you how you are. We don't want glitzy, polished, edited to the hills sparkly vlogs. We just love the natural, down to earth real life which you give us ❤
Hi, Creamy white fabric is 100% quilting cotton, just like your fat quarters. Quilts are nearly always 100% cotton, it’s so easy to use. You’ll get the hang of it!
Hi Karen Please don’t change we love you as you are I think your down to earth nature telling us as it is makes your Blog a pleasure to watch and has shown me what we make doesn’t have to be perfect mistakes are made I’m so pleased for you re your Quilting Boxes the fabrics are lovely can’t wait to see it all put together Love the new haircut you look great ❤👌

Hi Karen I think the vintage cream fabric is a small floral print in cotton please don't change they way you do your vlogs I love just the way you are ❤x
Listen to your sister ,after what you’ve gone through the rest doesn’t matter 🤷the lord has given you another the chance to live so don’t waste it LIVE IT 🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰
Please never change Karen your vlogs are so lovely it’s like chatting to a really good friend, the quilt box looks brilliant. I laughed so much at the photo of your hair, you are so funny. ❤❤
Love, I am a hairdresser and my hair is naturally curly but since keto due to health issues, my hair got really thin especially when it was a lot longer. I did the big chop in September into a bob and its now growing back nicely. You could use heated rollers to give it some ooomph, and thickening products are good. Loreal anti break the new one with Amenexil is really good but just go easy on the conditioner as is can be really heavy on fine hair. I use John Frieda thickening spray and then stick a few rollers heated rollers in for good measure when my hair is dry. I cannot use hairspray as my hair screams in disgust!
Ah, don’t change Karen, you cheer me up. I love the normality of your vlogs, you say it how we all feel. There are so many vlogs and I look out for yours because of the reality.Happy Christmas.☺️x.
Awww, looks like we all love you just the way you are….proper not professional!! I’m just going through ‘the curl’ era!! I have no idea what to do with it other than keep me daft hat on!!
Hi Karen. In the US, calico refers more to the style of the print. In this case, it would be a 100% quilting cotton with a small all-over print- smaller scale but reminiscent of the floral pattern on your storage bins. It's not at all what is called calico in the UK. I think that the booklet will be your best guide to help you decide whether to wash your fabrics first or not. It will be addressed there. I know what you mean about rewarming coffee in the microwave. It's never as good, and all ovens are a bit different, but when I'm desperate, I warm it for 30-40seconds on a really low power ~20 or 30٪
Hi Karen, please don't change, I love your channel just the way it is. Your good humour brightens my days.❤ My cousin is a quilter, she uses 100% cotton (for stability) for all her projects it does need prewashing because it shrinks. I would think they mean vintage style but no harm in dropping them an email and asking what they mean. You are very brave, quilting is not for me 😂, I have tried but it got filed under B .
Karen Hy again for my thinning hair ime taking vit B12 for my immune sistem and it seems to be helping my hair so ask if it’s all right for you to take it ?by the way I love your hair colour 🤷
Please don’t become “more professional”. You are awesome just like you are. One of the attractions of your vlog is the authenticity. ❤. I live in the US, and hairdressers don’t come to our house. It seems to be a thing in the UK. Is that right?
@@JustPlainLaine yes I think Pam is my third home visit hairdresser it means she doesn’t have to pay rent etc for a premises or bills for heating etc and I get my hair done for a more reasonable price although I have known Pam for years as her son went to primary school with my eldest. Thank you for watching and don’t worry unless there’s a small Christmas miracle the technology know how I need to become more professional will continue to bypass me 🙄🤣🥰xx
@@happydogshandmade4680 Eeh I had to go to an actual hair salon last year when Pam’s mum had passed away it was a treat to get brought the coffee and magazines etc but they did exact what Pam does and the charged almost double - i nearly passed away at that point! 😱🥰xx

Quilters don’t normally wash their fat quarters (don’t beat me up those that do!) 😂. Kate @thelasthomelyhouse on TH-cam doesn’t!
