Taking Heifer Bulls to Pasture

- This years heifer bulls have been downsized to just two. Vlad is our resident Speckle Park and The Gelbveih is obviously a Gelbveih....its in the name :). Thinking we will have to rename him though as I have two other Gelbveih bulls coming to help out with our cow herd this year.

@@Bremmer2023 lost my main ranch horse last fall. Not really legged up my back up horse for a while, though this sort of thing makes it obvious I need to get on that….and maybe get some colts in my pipeline!
A heifer is a young cow and a bull is a bull. There are no heifer bulls.
@@crabapple1951 😂😂😂 a heifer bull is a bull that is bred to throw small calves so that the heifers don’t have calving problems. Have you never been to a bull sale?

@@matthewdunham1689 hmmm,🤔that may be a farmer slang term. I just mean that their genetics predispose their calves to have lighter birth weights.
