If someone attacks me, and the first card i draw is exploding, i put defuse card, so i have to take the second turn (from the attack) ?? Can't find this rule
Hey creators! Just to clarify: if player C plays a NOPE card on top of 2 Attack cards(making player C take 4 turns) does it negate ALL 4 turns even for player B? Meaning that if Player C drops the NOPE card, Player B gets to skip his turn as well? Or does the NOPE card only negate the ONE Attack card beneath it? I hope I’m making sense. Thank you!
just to clarify, in the rules it states that an attack on top of an attack gives the next player 2 turns (doesn't stack) . As for the final question, i'm looking for that answer myself. EDIT: In general i have gathered that the game communities consensus is that it only negates the attack beneath it. for example: www.reddit.com/r/ExplodingKittens/comments/3yqgzs/nope_an_attack/ And, there's similar questions in the comments below. Unfortunately, i haven't found anything concrete so ultimately it up to the player's choice (house rules).
When i got attacked by 2 attack cards i need to do 4 turns. Imagine in turn 2 i grab a attack card. Can i play this card directly? And what happens with my fourth turn?
Dear developers, I have a question regarding the attack card. If the last card is left in the deck, and it's an explosive kitten, how will this card work? My friend and I had a dispute, since it says to take two, and there is only one card
@@SpeedCuberNIVINXD no, that's not how it works. you don't shuffle discard pile ever, those cards are out of play. and attack card doesn't make you take 2 cards, it makes you take 2 turns. so you take 2 turns as normal. if there's only 1 card left then you can play any cards and then take that card, if you have defuse - use it, but then it's your turn again
@@Cred1Tor Actually, you make sense. I was also kinda confused after I heard this question, and me and my family usually play it that way, so I just said it. But I’m still confused about one thing. How are you still going to continue without any deck?
So if you have 3 of a kind and then they don't have what you're looking for, can you request another card? Can't you stop requesting until you have a card in hand? Or if you ask for a specific card and it's not there, then you can no longer ask?
Question: 2 Players: A played attack card B played attack card (this ads to 4 draws of the pile) A played a nope card. Does B have to draw 2 cards because the nope card knocks out the last card or does the nope card cancel both attacks so player A has to draw 1 card (just as nothing happend)???
A played the attack card on B, B has to complete 2 turns, playing the attack card would end his first turn, but he still has 1 more. Then player C uses nope, cancelling the attack player B sent on him.
Here's the sequence: You attack B. B Nopes your attack, and you Nope B's Nope. Since you Noped his Nope, unless he plays another Nope, your Attack is successful.
It's pretty late and I doubt anyone would answer but, if A puts an attack card and the next person, B, puts another one, does that mean B doesn't have to take two turns?
We just did this in tonights game. B got attacked, by B placing the attack it ends 1 of their turns, meaning you have to draw again or play your last attacked turn (can skip, or whatever else but we concluded the last turn had to be played from A's attack.) Then C completes their attack. (Worked for us, and made sense so idk.)
so does the (get 2 cards that have the same icon and steal a card from ur opponent) rule affects all cards even defuse cards or just the (no instructions card and shuffle card)
Yes, all cards can be used to play as 2 or 3 of a kind, but these are extra rules for your game. In the original game the no instruction cards are the only ones you can use to steal. The 5 different cards rule( you can play 5 different icon cards and search the discard pile for a card) is also advanced rules
i have 2 questions first: the instructions on the website tell you to put extra defuses back into the pack after dealing 1 defuse each and before dealing the rest of the cards, meaning you might have more than 1 defuse at the start of the game but in my paper instructions it says otherwise - put the defuses and the exploding kittens back after you've dealt the cards. is there a consensus on this? i think i prefer the second option, where everyone starts with one defuse and you can only get extra defuses from the draw pile and second: in my paper instructions there's a 5 different cards combo which gives you an opportunity to take any card from the discard pile but it's not on the website. should i play with this rule or not?
Is it possible to download it with (spanish) subtitles? I would love to have it -offline- in my mobile to easily explain other people how to play! Thanks!
Hit the gears on computer and check the subtitles. Pick spanish. Hit the CC button. Record it. (Write it down, film it, whatever.) In mobile, hit the three dots. Hit captions and click spanish. Record it. You're welcome.
There are websites that offer to convert TH-cam videos into mp4 or avi format, although I'm almost sure they can't handle subtitles. You can use a screen recording program, or as you probably have a camera, you can record the video with subtitles on with it.
Imploding kittens don't kill some one when they pick it up first and you can't defuse it and when some one picks up the imploding kitten they place it down facing up in the deck and then when the next person that picks it up they die and they place the kitten in the deck facing down again
Didn't mention if we can see what they other people draw or not... I guess yes, because else they can just be quiet about drawing an exploding kitten, and also he said to keep in mind who has a defuse card, which would be impossible otherwise...
You do not see what people draw, though there are two rules which cover both your situations - For Exploding Kittens, when you draw one, you MUST reveal it and resolve it. For the Defuse cards, all players start with one in their hand at the beginning of the game (which is why you should remember who's used one, as each player has one guaranteed), though it's possible they might draw more.
I have the game Exploding Kittens it's soooo fun I even play it all day! (Also someone called: Matthew Inman . Is stealing your videos he is copying them.)

3 years later, but the rules state that nopes act as if the card played before never existed, so player B has to play 2 turns

I have a question for you,
How do you make a board game?
Think of something
If it's dumb make it a game
If not,think again
How many cards do you start off with in your hand?
should be 4 + 1 defuse card (total 5 cards)
7 + 1 defuse card
Wow I love this game I had it for like four years idk how many but wow I love it
i have 2 questions
first: the instructions on the website tell you to put extra defuses back into the pack after dealing 1 defuse each and before dealing the rest of the cards, meaning you might have more than 1 defuse at the start of the game but in my paper instructions it says otherwise - put the defuses and the exploding kittens back after you've dealt the cards. is there a consensus on this? i think i prefer the second option, where everyone starts with one defuse and you can only get extra defuses from the draw pile
and second: in my paper instructions there's a 5 different cards combo which gives you an opportunity to take any card from the discard pile but it's not on the website. should i play with this rule or not?
1: you actually put 2 extra defuses in normally, but you can choose and 2: play with the five card combo when you played a game.
In the game on your phone how to you get the character clawborg 500
What happens if you run out of cards? Or is that not possible?
Not possible because theres a exploding kitten and theres no way both players have defuse till there
Is it possible to download it with (spanish) subtitles? I would love to have it -offline- in my mobile to easily explain other people how to play! Thanks!

What a hilarious way to explane the game.
Cards ranked:
1: Defuse
2: Attack
3: Skip
4: Nope
5: Cat pairs
6: See the future
7: Shuffle
8: Favor
Now should just clarify their meanings to everybody
Anyone know the difference between exploding kittens and imploding kittens?
Imploding kittens don't kill some one when they pick it up first and you can't defuse it and when some one picks up the imploding kitten they place it down facing up in the deck and then when the next person that picks it up they die and they place the kitten in the deck facing down again
the splatter pattern.
What if player 1 places an attack(2x) card and player 2 places another attack?? If someone nopes it does end all plays or no?
Then it's still the second person's turn, and they have to take two turns
Didn't mention if we can see what they other people draw or not...
