I just love old buildings, they are so full of history and should never be demolished to make way for modern/ugly ones. I am fortunate that I have seen many wonderful old buildings in Europe and also in Latin American countries where there are a lot of Spanish colonial-era buildings, most of which are still in their original state.
very interesting. you don't see any tourists at all. looks a lot cleaner than it did in the late 1980s, and it's nice to see the men still wearing their longgis. Better looking than most African capitals, which smell from the open sewers and the garbage everywhere...
Have you noticed that ...there are Four Major Religious buildings lying along side on your way ....;0:09 (Hindu ) 1;17 ( Christian ) 1;55 (Buddhist ) 2;19 Muslim isn't it ??? I have never seen such a four Religious buildings next to each other together ......
I haven't changed any money along this road yet. The closest place I have changed money is the money exchange on the top floor of the Junction City mall - which is within easy walking distance of 21st street. Remember to bring US dollars in perfect condition - otherwise they will not accept them. We once had dollar noted rejected because they had a tiny bend in the corner.
