JQ is the most "fair" tank in the game. Exactly what a 5v5 tank should look like. Good HP, small health regen, skill shot CC, negaheal ult, and heavy close dmg. Now - scale the rest of the tank cast to do the same and maybe DPS/supp won't be in such a rough spot.

@@goldenyokai2760 Specifically, now Junker Queen heals for 1.25 HP instead of 1 HP per point of Bleed Damage. So if you do 30 Bleed Damage, you heal for 37.5 HP instead of only 30. It doesn't seem like much, but I compare it to like, buffing Doom's HP on ability hit from 30-35. 5 HP or 7.5 HP doesn't seem like a lot until you wound multiple people at a time and stack different wounds on multiple targets. Like, if you hit Rampage on a 5 man, it goes from healing 100 HP per target to 125 HP. Or a boost of a full 125 HP for her Ult. It's really crazy.

The buffs actually changed everything the extra healing from knife and the extra axe swings add up to so much hp her survivability like doubled which then allows her to survive to use even more abilities which then keeps you alive longer. It’s a self sustaining loop, if you don’t fuck up your abilities she’s straight up overpowered and I love it. You can solo carry games with 3 borderline throwing teammates
Hog & Orisa still dominate rn but if you get your axe cd & try to kill squishies faster you could overwhelm a hog. I don't know how JQ plays into Orisa but I think you could try doing the same unless she checks you all game.
Climbed to Master with her. She's not hard to use against meta characters unless they're straight up better than you. Against a Hog, she's weaker on paper, but if you nail your cooldowns, you can outplay him. Against Orisa, you're better off ignoring her and going for her backline. She's incredibly tanky and Queen doesn't do enough damage against all that armor.
4 more things the devs should have done with JQ. 1. Increase the hit box of blade when recall 2. Shout can be used simultaneously with knife, axe and ult (like orisa gold) 3. Increase the range of axe 4. Shout cooldown immediately starts right after the ability is activated and not after it ends. Increase the cooldown by 1, remove the health gain for teammates and reduce the MS to teammates by half. My team don't need that MS, JQ does She would still be fine with these buffs because there are many ways to counter JQ like CC, long range poke and mobility Also JQ is still bad even with the axe buff. You will only hit 1 person 90% of the match with the axe and the argument about the axe being strong is the same as saying widow and hanzo are S tier and all you need to hit the head consistently which in reality won't happen and is redundant. JQ has gotten better but she still isn't strong. She is more balance right now and not bad anymore
