This is softshell turtle this one is actually pest they eat fishes in the farm and crops they can multiply very fast some of your audience lacks of knowledge let them. 🥰 Been a fan of your keep on cooking 😘😘
I belive softshell turtles are a protected species in the wild and illegal to hunt in Cambodia and that the only legitimate options to cook turtles of any kind are to buy them from licensed breeding farms.

There’s worse things eaten in other parts of China like how the dog meat market still hasn’t been banned. I much rather see a turtle be eaten then a dog don’t you think? nobody forced you to watch either.
mickeyroo1000 exactly like not everywhere is as lucky as the US to have a constant flow of beef chicken pork etc. Out in third world parts (not saying these ladies are in a poor country idk their story to make any judgments) but in other parts of the world I mean people take what they can get. As long as you cook it there’s no risk.
mickeyroo1000 I know what you mean, food is food. I’ve heard of turtle soup, never tried it though. I think what sickened people is seeing the turtles spread opened and seeing all the eggs and the other stuff in there. It’s their culture, they’re use to eating stuff like that. This didn’t bother me, though. There’s a line I won’t cross and that’s eating cockroaches and spiders. Polin (the one in the pink sweater) fried up cockroaches in one of her videos. There’s another video with her and the girl in the black flowery top frying big black spiders, they were scary looking things. Now that, I won’t try.
I also want to taste recipes with turtle meat, until I saved one life. Every lives in this Earth matters somehow. Man, it is very hard for me though😓

Senya_ Puro well sucks for you animals have been getting eaten since the beginning of time lol. A lot of different kinds too strange and normal. It’s a way of life for millions hun not everyone is gonna have that same mindset you have. Just gotta deal with it. You guys this is normal ok maybe not in your country, but in southeast asia its not abnormal. In america people eat alligators, squirrels, and we all mostly eat pork, remember pigs are as smart and conscious as dogs! Think about that!

Eating turtles is not a big deal people. Turtles is a big dish in some countries. I don't eat turtles but I still watch and enjoy their different types of food.

Também não, acredito que não há a mínima necessidade, algumas espécies de tartarugas estão até ameaçadas de extinção, elas não deveriam ser usadas como alimentação humana!

Not really. Chicken , cattle, pigs and sheeps are not on the endangered species list and are not largely illegal to trade and eat ( religion set aside) Turtles however is, even in Cambodia: Wonder where the ladies got them from?
