I own the Uniden R3. For the price vs. to the detection options = priceless. I use it daily in my car and Goldwing and it works very well. Saved me many times over. After 3 years using it, Uniden only, for me.

I recently purchased the R8 it’s very sharp with arrows and all the bells and whistles,but the blue thooth doesn’t work,for spending good money for it you’d expect to have compatibility with an iPhone ,and your going to need windows to do the update very disappointed for this feature

Speaker went out on it in a year though and the customer service sucks they wanted me to pay 60$, to fix the sound. I think that was bs

you can update the device with IOS or Windows and with the latest update the bluetooth works much better
