Have you ever taken the San Sevine Road AKA Big Tree Road up the lower west side of Lytle ? It goes up for 12 or 13 miles to an old CG called Joe Elliott.

Which road is this one off than main road in Lytle creek? My boyfriend has a F-150. From the video it looks like it could make it. Is the road more narrow than appreas on the video? Thanks for the dope content!

It is the dirt road on the right, just before the Lytle Creek Ranger Station.

+bonards29 We took a weird line. We took Lytle Creek Rd to an unnamed road near 34.233519, -117.474711 , then we followed the road until we met Forest Rte 3N31 near 34.245743, -117.481829 , then we took Applewhite Rd near 34.255372, -117.485159 , we followed that to Lytle Creek Rd near North Fork 34.260296, -117.494984 , then we took Sheep Canyon Rd near 34.261498, -117.498888 , followed that to Sheep Creek Trail near 34.274479, -117.499248 , followed that until we hit another unnamed road near 34.291566, -117.529569 , that road popped out at Lone Pine Canyon Rd near 34.305363, -117.524394, then we went to Swarthout Canyon Rd near 34.301393, -117.511391 , then to Pacific Crest Trail near 34.296450, -117.506892 , followed that until we hit the tracks near 34.299111, -117.469620 , we took Santa Fe Rd to 34.301156, -117.461684, to N Cajon Blvd 34.301746, -117.460980 , to Cleghorn Rd 34.299389, -117.456905 , then we did Cleghorn all the way to the 138, then called it a day. We started the trail at 7:00 go to the tracks at about 13:00 with a lunch break in there somewhere. Then did Cleghorn and got off trail at around 17:00. It was a full day. But check out the way points, you can get to the Pacific Crest Trail for many other roads.

+Chris Lawton thanks so much. Will probably check it out. Too bad they closed most of the offshoots in cleghorn.

Yeah, I talked to the Rangers they said they will reopen some of the trails after they fix them. Hopefully it's within our lifetime.
