Yesterday me and a team of randoms jumped all 4 levels of Ginyu. The raider was level 97. Never thought I’d see such an ass beating by randoms with a high level Ginyu. My teammates were in the 100’s and 200’s.
What I've noticed about Ginyu the previous season was that his advantage of guaranteed lvl 4 became his weakness. People exploited it to hell by using the low health for a succesful jump and then using the transformation cutscene as a free escape, repeat x2. Ginyu IMO became 1 of the weakest Raiders as a result. But now that jumping is a lot harder as Raiders can now more easily hit as well as instant-descent, Ginyu is back in a pretty good spot.
@@Artistofprocedure Baby requires a difference in playstyle. Vehicle build, don’t touch or go near civs until baby is level two. Lead him around as a level one if you have a vehicle build. Level 2 baby without any kills is easy to jump. They’re taking focus away from directly combatting the raider 100% of the game.
@@CrowMercury They still changed dodging and made the vehicle build the focus for key rushing. The battle is just meant to be secondary to the team now. A strange focus, and why I stopped playing. The whole goal became wait to jump the raider like flies, exactly what baby shows it feels like to be up against when he’s snowballing.

12:05 What is he talking about when it comes to the hit detection? I've had some interesting moments like that too but like way worse. If anyone could explain it that would be awesome.
He's implying that the player is lagging. For example here at 11:16 you can see a weird interaction happen between said player and Ginyu. The animation for a vanish kick activates, yet their attacks tie. Then the player de-transforms, activates shoe and somehow disappears. Usually this happens when the player's connection is unstable: stuttering, teleporting, delayed effects and interactions. As for the timestamp you're looking at, personally I think it could be anything. We can attribute Iron's ki blasts not hitting the survivor to lag ofc, but we can also attribute it to two factors: 1. The survivor is slightly faster than Iron 2. The survivor's ki blasts slightly cancel Iron's (Laser Ki Blasts win against Ball-based Ki Blasts). In the second situation, because of the type of ki blast, it doesn't matter that Ginyu has a shotgun spread, lasers if angled right can cancel more than one of those ki blasts (I've done the same before). And ofc the speed and positioning also affect whether the ki blasts will hit. All Iron needed to do is stop shooting ki blasts and readjust his position so that he could aim better (lockon also locks your position while you shoot...ofc).
Last night I was playing with a newbie friend and we found a Gold Ginyu. We were concerned at first, but we had a bunch of premades in our lobby. Ginyu got Lvl 4 before the second power key was found and died to like, four Lvl 1's and 2's. 😭
I got my Vegeta up to level 77, and now I'm doing Ginyu so I can play all the raiders in order of arc - doing frieza, cell, and buu after Ginyu'll keep me from spending TP medals for a while.
Also is it just me or getting raider in flex is harder than last season? Last season you needef priority 3+ - 5 to get raider, now you need 5+ priority to get a raider game. IDK is it only happening to me or is it happening to everyone?
I had a match where I had to sweat my ass off against a group of lvl 200s all running high damage supers as Ginyu. Shit sucked but I managed to win even with the low health bar
Guldo is super squishy... But if ur running around and not staying by downed survs you'll be really fine... Haven't had a problem and ive even fought parties.... Recoome is a bit harder because of the lack of breaks... But it kind of flips difficulty by jeice and burter... Ofc assuming they're not jumping you with 60 stuns and 5 super spirit bombs sync'd to hit recoome on start up.... That match sucked sooooo bad for me
Try running all the Dragon Change Defence Buff passives just to see if that'll help solo raiders like before Maybe Resist, Godlike Speed, Gift of the Gods and something else, im still pretty new to the game so idk what passives do what.
This is the best raider i played them since i got them and it's so funny, i always trie to spare every player who does a ginyu force pose since i still win in the end. 😊
It's pretty dog poo poo. There is a huge delay @ the end of the cast, which makes you get hit by any super from a raider after (really bad if you are level 4 dragon change). The start also has a windup that can be canceled, so meh.
Showing its age? They are still strong. You lost Guldo because you wandered way too far from your spawn point not looking for civies in your vicinity and went towards survivors that got power already, and even then most of the team needed to burn their D Change just to take down Guldo. And with Guldo alive you would have had more health as Ginyu. If anything you made a lot of mistakes here in this match and still came out on top. The Ginyu force is still strong.
I think to ignore the fact that most ginyu force members can be taken down in about 2-4 supers isn't something we should forget/ignore. Not every game or raider is going to go/play perfectly. There is less room for error than there has been in the past with this raider. They are still strong, but their fragility is really starting to show more and more. Hence, showing their age.
@@ironcane Don't get me wrong, I've seen how much damage survivors can do with a super attack, on top of that you said you weren't playing super sweaty, and that's might be why you lost Guldo, but he is still a very forgiving raider havin four health bars and requires a lot of coordination to take down the Ginyu Force in the meta. You're good at the game, Ironcane. Survivors not being able to drink sodas during dragon change made them VERY vulnerable Only (possible???) The combo passives I can see work out is The Immortal Champion (pray not flung into a wall) that Goku Black skill that recovers dragon change when shield is broken, Soda and that Gogeta skill to recover shields when Transforming. Even then, that is a crazy situational setting, but if survivors are in a team and all rock that with stun skills... That can stall the hell out of raiders. I only saw that (it *might've* been planned like that) happen 1 time and it was hell Everyone was level 1 or 2 and I was level 4 Frieza and everyone flew away when STM was up. Returned back to fight in under 20 seconds for 2 straight minutes
Same premade used these same tactics on me 3 games in a row and I stopped playing. I might come back, but survivors are still practically invincible when using the right skills and having a good team, not even a premade. The whole point of getting rid of sodas while changed was so they couldn't be stacked, that doesn't matter with memories of battle and getting hit while you're drinking the soda to instantly consume it and get your change back anyways.
@@super_kami_dende I honestly hate getting queued up as Raider with a lobby of people over level 200 All my Raiders aren't even at level 20 But whenever I get into a match, it's been the same since Broly came out, I only get queued up in matches where I'm the highest (over 150) and everyone's under level 90. @@HebiSaru21 The worst thing is that you're coming into this game as a new player and expected to know what to do. They will then cycle out 2 people to fight and chase you the whole time with a skill that gives them extra speed, take less damage, and allow them to use special moves cheaper while the rest of the team already has the STM to about 50%. So, your options are lose to STM or die because once those two people are done fighting and you can go back to the STM, if they don't have skills that can replenish their change like I said in my last comment, then you gotta get through the rest of the team. @Frieza-yg4zp Honestly, Survivors can keep stuns, just buff the Knock Back meter, if it's full the stun lasts for a shorter time; maybe 1/3rd it's original intended duration, prompting survivors to HAVE to have skills/teamwork to get away, and minor buff to rockets if anything Make the knock back meter harder to empty out (2 times if anything) and harder to recover (when/if it reaches 0% make it take almost a minute, if it isn't 0% let it recover the same pace) so it's somewhat balanced if anything Making Raiders forcefully less aggressive against a whole team, because no dodge is still hard, the stun is the issue, also make it so *STUNS* are Stuns, not knock backs so stuns DON'T affect the meter at all. Lol if only people agree to fair balance instead of random bs 'balance'
I said this day one, Ginyu is the only raider in the Patch Notes that didn't get actual buffs. He can still easily be destroyed by survivors and because they can force evolution by defeating every level, they can have the supplies for the STM and have an even easier time.
