Good year Kelli , thank you for your videos and all this good ideas , i copied every thing in my sketchbook and i fill every day a fragment . I also do a zendala , and i am watching someone else who is making a very interesting combination on four tiles tieded up together . So i love all this . Amicalement
Hi Kelli, Another idea for anyone who might be interested...I was concerned about the tiles becoming damaged or smeared after being handled, and (with the graphite shading), so I laminated my first page with packing tape to protect them. I did this while they we're still on the sheet, and then cut and punched. I think this will also strengthen the hole as well. Mine came out great!!! I've got a special place in my studio space to hang the packet when done. What a great project!!!
I loved this! It brought me back to 7th grade geography class…. I used to draw a small shape on my brown bag book cover and color it in with my pen. Then I made another one next to it of a different shape and it came close like the ones today. I kept doing this until I had a very large area covered. It got so filled at times that my back got fuzzy or I ripped through the bag. 😂 What’s funny with today’s tangle is my brain immediately filled in the moon shapes. I love the shaded border technique! Thank you Kelli! ❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
Like you Molygon is not my favorite type of tangle pattern. However, after experimenting with it I did make friends with it 😊. It’s amazing how you fill these tiny spaces so beautifully. Your example on regular paper was very inspiring. May have to try it. Thanks Kelli ❤
I was not convinced until I tried it. Then I found a black tile and white pen and covered the tile. Enjoyed it so much! If not for this challenge I would never have tried it. Thanks Kelli.
I save my sheets of fragments or zentangles under a plastic sheet made for 3-ring binders. They stay clean and flat and in a binder. I don't like having bunches of tiles on rings. This way I can look at them at once and don't have to flip through 31 separate tiles.
This was good fun! Quite different to my usual shapes, it’s given me a new way to explore 😅
This turned out really cute Kelli.
I liked filling each in. It gives a wild cat look!
Oooh, it does!

This was a different one. Looks good all done. I liked adding some around the seed shapes.
Mine ended up looking like tiger stripes, I love how it turned out 🤩

That is such a fun memory to have from your childhood!
I like the polygon. I made the one on the sheet. Then I filled a large bird. Thanks so cute.

It is so satisfying to make friends with a tangle! :)
