Apple's WWDC 2024 just wrapped up, and here are the key takeaways:
Developer-Centric: WWDC is all about developers. It’s a 5-day event packed with insights on how to integrate the latest technologies into apps.
Maps Upgrade: Cool new features like typography, local weather data, and user-submitted trails for hiking and off-roading.
Satellite iMessage: Satellite connectivity now supports iMessage and SMS, making it easier to stay connected in remote areas.
AI Everywhere: Apple’s big push into AI, with new features that enhance functionality across their newer devices. Bringing it to the main stream.
The good with the bad: AI will empower people to do lots of things, not just bad. I try to talk about the two sides of the coin.
Creative Workflow: Like all things AI is a balance. It will take time for everyone to figure out where it fits for them.
Overall, this year’s WWDC was all about laying the groundwork for future innovations. The future is still, well, in the future.

I’m hoping that AI users will have to admit to using AI in anything they sell/create. But of course that leads into the discussion of what is AI, like content fill, etc.
