Thank you for the video on each model. I wish Acura would have made the RLX 3.5L 310hp/272tq available for the Aspec and/or Adv MDX models. Really miss the Sport Hybrid powertrain. That would help with performance with the +22 MDX weight gain and improve mpgs for only $1500 more like it did for the 17-20 MDX.
I ordered a base AWD just because all the standard features are all I care about. I'd love the type s motor, but I'm not paying 20 plus grand more for it.
@@brandonflores7239 I haven't, but I've had a loaner twice for a few days. Only thing that takes some getting used to is the track pad. Base MDX is the best bang for buck. You get all the looks, styling and most features. All you're paying for above that is better stereo and different looks, really. The aspec is 9k more. I don't wanna pay that when all I really care about is the drivetrain, standard features and exterior styling. Everything else is fluff. I would really love the type s, but not worth doubling my car payment when gas prices are skyrocketing.
@@chrisespinosa2886 we believe all cars should not be sold over MSRP. TypeS included. We are here to do business and have long lasting relationships. We know that’s rare in the industry, but we look at this differently than most.

Really appreciate you guys because we have a ‘20 A Spec RDX and we want to trade in our VW for either an aspec 22 mdx or type s. Unfortunately here in IL everyone is marking up like crazy. Watching your podcast right now and I really appreciate you guys

Yes that is probably a little disappointing, it does sound a little better in person than on video, but also keep in mind this is a family car still with performance. It sounds good enough. Could they have gone crazy with it sure, but I don’t think it would have suited this car well.
Big Acura and Honda fan here, owned many over the years but they got boring and fell behind the competition. I ended up buying a Durango SRT because the MDX Type S took too long to release.

I'm thinking of this too, the base MDX AWD. Have you received it yet? If so, any regrets not getting the A spec, for example?

When you said you guys sell the A Spec for MSRP, it made me happy because my dealer wants 65 for the a spec and $83,000 for the type s
Yeah we don’t believe in selling over what the manufacturer suggests. We did add a heated wheel to it, but that’s a nice add on 😊
