Older titles at least had some comradery and chill on average because the community was cool. Now it’s just new people coming in from clickbait misinformation videos thinking it’s just a rage game you need to cheese to win and not for fun… Toxicity rules now. Worse yet not only did Elden Ring kill those games but they are also infested by ER players that’s Al that’s left…
That always makes me laugh, because if I invaded then that’s deserved, but what I can’t stand is the person who gloats and sends 20 messages afterwards like ok. That’s just annoying
Fr. I rarely do pvp too in this game but when I do, I always run one shot builds. Stealth waterfowl build or poisoned buffed mage build go hard against shidders. If I want more “honest” fights, low lvl invasions is where it’s at.
I agree, Dresden files was a good series. If you liked it you should check out the authors other series about fantasy not-Rome with elemental powers. First book or two is a bit slow paced but from the third onward it takes off and doesn't stop.
Hey lost, can you get your hands on two Freya's curved great swords? At 80 - 99S you get to play as Radahn that actually attacks as fast as as he does when we fight him, powered up lions claws ect. Fun. Also, i did some digging, and for some odd reason, Freya's curved Great sword is best in class for lightning infusion, and lighting AOW seems to do more on it that most dex weapons for some reason? worth a look if the idea well runs dry at least ahha.
Those things you called grafted are called royal revenant. I believe those are widely considered the most annoying enemy in the game. That weapon the host had would have destroyed the revenants, but I guess he didn't want to try, being he was too worried about you following him.
I'm actually genuinely upset that so many amazing weapons from Dark Souls 3, and amazing specials of Dark Souls 3 got completely passed up while then we got ashes of War like carrion sovereignty, can shriek of Sorrow, not to mention weapon redos like the Bonnie butchering knife and frankly a few others, even though I was wondering is quite literally my favorite game, and I've put over 3.5 thousand hours into it, it really does feel like there are sections that were abandoned and almost very Telltale cut off plots. Not to mention there is an overarching minor issue with enemy placement, as well as enemy density in the open Rome areas, if you look at a statistically something like 60% of the enemies in the game are either the wandering Nobles or some variant of your standard tunic wearing knights (godricks, gelmir, cuckoo,ect) and i mean all 3 variants, minor foot soldier, standard infantry, and the heavy infantry. If you want to include the commanders, which are the great Shield wielding nights, the banish nights, and the clean rots, ECT than the point stands even more. They seem to be very few high stake enemies, and very few mistake enemies outside of a select few Legacy dungeon areas.
I think the people who enter boss rooms to escape invaders are pure cowards when I co-op with my friend the only time we ever enter the boss room after getting invaded is if we are already passing through the fog wall as the invader is spawning in
Credit to Lost for using meat dumplings, Marika's flaks for some dumb invasion. lol. I know he can get it back via savefile scumming , but still. Normally when I run out of Estus either I sever out or just go kamikaze.

I spam that spell from time to time. But only if the one who invaded me likes to do some cowardly play of his own. Fight fire with fire as they say.
